Mileage: I filled up the tank(Busa) to brim. And rode for 294kms still, the bike wasnt showing the reserve light of fuel.

Say it takes 21 litres and out of which 4 litres would be on reserve. Say if had used 17 litres..
The mileage i got is a staggering 17.294xxxx kmpl

Heck! that's almost half as what I got with an engine about 8.5 times smaller!!!

Wow! Superb write-up KP. It exactly reflects the actual trip and the fun we had. The 'timing' thing was really great. Never thought of that. Kudos for you.

Now I am relieved. I know you are going to put trip-log for the Kodachadri trip.

Blame it on my PC... I'd have posted the log long back if not for the problems with the PC. I have the Day 1 log 90% ready.

Thanx but i was inspired by Satish's log of his and Ravikirans tirupathi trip..KP has put it in a better way though...points are always better than an essay format..

@sam: there will always be other rides and better ones too ..thats what we are about...

another funny moment of the trip was at lunch when i said that this is my first long ride and all the others stare at me as if i was an alien or something.... now i know better...

But i at all the time rode only at 90-105kmph.......execpt at one strech when returning i was chasing u down......u were ripping and so was i trying to overtake u.....and surprisingly the gap got closer and closer......hit 130 mark before i slowed down..........this very much shows ur bike needs to open up more

ever since i got the malfunction light on while riding to pocharam i kept below the 8500limit all the way back..i felt my problem was with the battery not charging so i did not want the radiator to switch on...but i agree after riding kps bike i felt my bike is still in its infancy..but more than that i felt ashamed taht all ur bikes were looking so clean and mine looked like i did not clean it since teh day i bought her...cleanest of the lot though was shabbar's bike...shining new@ 4000km

of all the bikes only mine was a bit dusty and busa had some dust too......but u wont spot it since it was white
