The PHYSICS or CHEMISTRY (even i don't know what is itOriginally posted by kriss View PostWhite...and dirt is not visible...?? Why so ?? any physics or chemistry behind this ?
) behind this is that dust particles are in sand color and they get highlighted on black more than on white....

this could be the joke of 2009.Originally posted by HydBiker View PostThe Busa again
6 bikes entered the dhaba... 5 parked in the front parking... we didn't want to take chances and requested them to open the side path to get the Busa near to the hut we were seated.
After some serious observation - looking at the busa from all the sides... the waiter asked Ravi (who went aside to wash hands)... "sir, where are the extra fittings of this vehicle?"... surprised Ravi asked him "why?" and he came back "then how did six people sit on this?"!

[quote=HydBiker;150077]Guys
Shabbar's Uni was (as usual with a uni) smooth even when doing 110 kmph... it struggles to reach there from I guess 95 kmph but the engine doesn't show the stress out! and when he is doing 110 kmph with a lot of struggle... I can cross him sitting straight... with ease!
yes HydBiker you are right , only my uni could touch 100 with ease and from there i had to crouch to go faster , but i did touch 115 before our breakfast , but nevertheless i felt silly (read slow poke) in the company of 3 R15's, Zma , P220 and the mighty Busa , would have loved to drag with satish's RTR , but then he too has written he touched 130Kmph , so he to would have made me smell smoke , the only bike i could have beaten in a race was the Zeabusa , but my bad luck , he came in when i was leaving .
i always thought my Uni to be a powerfull bike during city ridding but the the R15 enlightened me .
Anyways i was very pleased by my bike smoothness and the composure it held .
Hydbiker as u were saying u use a Cramster tankbag doesnt it scratch your tank , or u are using any protection , pls answer as i am very keen on buying one .Last edited by shabbarak; 01-07-2009, 12:14 PM.Shabbar

[quote=shabbarak;150463]It will not scratch much. Verly slightly it will, but you can negate it by using a soft cloth. Almost all the tourers of Hyd are using it.Originally posted by HydBiker View PostGuys

it is still sending tickles to me
Shabbar... each bike has its own nature... if you try driving an R15 in city traffic... possibility is that you will just throw it away and take a city bus. See, 100 kmph is a lot of speed and the Uni can do it steadily without any strain.Originally posted by shabbarak View Posti always thought my Uni to be a powerfull bike during city ridding but the the R15 enlightened me .

The Cramster Tank Bag doesn't scratch your tank. The place where you have magnets has good material that doesn;t let them scratch the tank (though you have to be careful in pulling the magnets out as it can show some effect in long run) and the bottom of the bag that sits on the tank leaves some smudges of dirt when used in a long tour! they will leave the paint if you rub with a wax polish.
Also, we place a yellow polish cloth between the tank bag and the tank...
@Kiran
That shot was a super macro of Satish's palm (guess the left one) and not that of a thumb. Right? Ravi?
