My bike clocked just 245 km. How come you all got above 300 km??

anna, all the guys went abt 15kms ahead of the dhaba and returned......we reached the dhaba later. and u stay in kukatpally while me and harsha stay in malkajigiri and AOC!

What do you mean by this? Does your 'Zeubusa' lack power or not? For eg.if I say 'I am Lacking any need', it means I have no need. So do you mean to say that your Zeubusa does not lack any power upto 80?

@All: I felt that the log should have been written by someone who was there right from the beginning to the ending&that does not include me, since I left early.

@Harsha: Very well written log. Reminds me of the points when we actually reached the limits of our machines&Kriss zooming away like a dot in the horizon!
The extra seats for 6 people part is too funny though. Wish I had been there to hear that in person!

That trip log is from Raj's POV. He might have missed mentioning your names because he missed you guys.

1. RTR lacked power
2. RTR had enough power
3. Zeubusa lacked power
4. Zeubusa had enough power
Which of the above he was trying to state still remains a mystery to me!

As for the log, I felt his log was more focused on food&drinks, never mind his omitting members&other details!
Kudos to Harsha once again for the bright idea of getting onto the 4 lane highway, as well as for a detailed&memorable log. Hope to ride soon with you guys again! Cheers!

If u did'nt check the thread properly then why do u blame others?

Bottomline....concentrate while reading the thread and dont just concentrate only on increasing the post count!

for all tyhe people cribbing that they did not get informed about the ride, check my post on pg86 or just reda the quoted matter above, im sorry i could not not sms u in person becoz,
a) i dont know your numbers( as in i havent stored them on my phone)
b) i have not met a couple of you.
c) i think posting details including my number in forum is sufficient enough.

btw i did not intend this to be gtg or trip seeing the recent inactivity and complete lack of responses on the thread from many of you after moeed and shabbar talked about having a meet on sunday
i smsed a few people who i have met during the chennai trip and unfortunately satish did not get my sms too..and quite a few confirmed last minute.

im sorry if some of u missed out but u dont need to lash out on those who turned up..if u had followed the thread sincerely im sure that u could have made it. stop blaming anyone but urselves.

Had a good ride on the Sunday... Thanks to all who came in... special thanks & a sorry to Ravi Kiran for coming & having to leave alone... I hate to ride alone... but he's a devil... all he needs is the bike & road for company

Never expected Kriss to get the Busa out... Initially thought the trip would be with 3 R15's (Harsha, Sarvajit & I)... then thought it will be 5 ppl (add Kriss on Busa & RaviKiran on P220) but we managed to break Ravi's (ZMA) sleep so he thought of joining us... Shabbar (Uni) was a welcome fresh face... when we thought we have a great group of 7, we got news that Satish (RTR) is joining us... then again that Raj (ZeBuSA) joined us... woha... 9 ppl for the ride and 8 ppl max at one point of time!

Few things still ring in to me about the Sunday Ride...
First - Timing

1) Harsha, Sarvajit, Shabbar & Kriss were coming from Anand Theatre to meet the rest of us at the road where the NH7 meets the road going to Jeedimetla Bachuplly Road. I was about 5 meters away from the highway when they arrived there... just needed a blink and honk to confirm to them that it was me...
2) Ravi Kiran was behind me on that same road... so we were waiting there... Now, Ravi came from Bowenpally road and Ravi Kiran from the road I came in... need I mention that they too met at the intersection at the same time???
3) When we stopped for breakfast.... we were parking our bikes and Ravi & Satish arrived!
4) We stopped as we couldn't see Ravi & Shabbar for some time... Just as I put my bike on the side stand, I got a call from Ravi...

He was doing 140 kmph - redlining his ZMA in the 5th gear in less than a KM... something wrong with the tuning as he could never do it earlier and just a few days back his idling problem was set right... his bike stalled as if there was no fuel supply.... while he was speaking to me the engine started up as it cooled down a bit. He told us that Shabbar was behind him and he told him to join us, that Satish was on the way, we don't stop for him/ them.


5) Just as the food started arriving on the table for our lunch, my wife calls me asking if I am coming home for lunch!!!
6) My wife & I were supposed to go out that evening with a friend... I came home, got down from my bike... was pulling the gloves off and my friend arrived at my place...


Second - Cold

It was all fog at 7am till we all met... cold was pinching inside our jackets jeans and gloves... it was not much better for the next 30 mins but we were doing the best speeds we could! Our shivers were probably canceled out by the engine vibes...

Third - The Busa

We were struggling for our top speeds... doing all possible things... tucking in, full throttle, with every nerve concentrated on one task... doing about 132, 133, 134 on our speedos.... the Busa passes us by with a whirr.... happened thrice to me... every time this happened, I just couldn't stop bursting out into a loud laugh....


Fourth - The Busa again

6 bikes entered the dhaba... 5 parked in the front parking... we didn't want to take chances and requested them to open the side path to get the Busa near to the hut we were seated.

After some serious observation - looking at the busa from all the sides... the waiter asked Ravi (who went aside to wash hands)... "sir, where are the extra fittings of this vehicle?"... surprised Ravi asked him "why?" and he came back "then how did six people sit on this?"!

Ravi had no words and it was difficult for him to control and tell this joke to us.... Kriss was banging his head!!! I think Harsha came up with the idea of Busa Taxi where you will be ferried from Hyd to Medak in 30 mins at a charge of Rs 1K (was it?)


Shabbar's Uni was (as usual with a uni) smooth even when doing 110 kmph... it struggles to reach there from I guess 95 kmph but the engine doesn't show the stress out! and when he is doing 110 kmph with a lot of struggle... I can cross him sitting straight... with ease!

Ravi Kiran & I chased a Verna for a while... this car was speeding on the smooth highways and our bikes were no match for it when the road is open! But then, such stretches don't last long on our highways so we were catching him up now and then... He was irritating Kriss by driving next to him so Kriss zipped the Busa away!

I did a sustained 132 & 134 kmph while chasing him. At one point I slowed down a bit and then opened the throttle again... I saw the speedo reading at 138 kmph (my top speed)!

Wow! Superb write-up KP. It exactly reflects the actual trip and the fun we had. The 'timing' thing was really great. Never thought of that. Kudos for you.

Now I am relieved. I know you are going to put trip-log for the Kodachadri trip.

And i clocked almost 294 on busa and 32 on p200, which equal to 326kms in total.

Mileage: I filled up the tank(Busa) to brim. And rode for 294kms still, the bike wasnt showing the reserve light of fuel.

Say it takes 21 litres and out of which 4 litres would be on reserve. Say if had used 17 litres..
The mileage i got is a staggering 17.294xxxx kmpl
