Stunt G2G's are not just another 'ride in & out' after all huh? I wonder what to do with my Karizma

        That doesnt answer my questions
        1. Insurance is not a must. But incase cops catch at a checkpost please dont expect us to stand by u & request them to let go. In any case i advice get the insurance renewed asap. Saves a lot of money incase of a crash. Driving License, Bike RC, Pollution Check Certificate is a MUST.

        2. Minimum safety gear means- helmet, shoes, gloves, elbow & knee pads. This is to avoid injuries in the event of a fall. This is mandatory even for G2G's/ small rides. If you have a riding jacket-good. Else u need to atleast wear a leather jacket or jeans jacket. Also riding shoes if you have. If not ankle length shoes. No canvas shoes please.

        3. Yes u need to carry a first aid kit & a tool kit with basic tools. In the event of a crash to treat the injuries with basic first aid kit & a tool kit to adjust minor things which might come up while in a ride. This is a MUST.

        4. Getting rid of the fiber parts was just an advice. Its not a must. Incase u drop the bike i dont think you would be happy spending the moolah on the 'cosmetic' parts instead of critical parts. I cant afford to buy a new fairing, indicators, crash guard, handlebar etc. everytime i drop the bike. You can 'ride in & out'. The whole idea of the stunt G2G is to learn stunts & have better control of the bike. No one here can do even 1 properly.

        5. Now they are answered i guess.
Biking is not my Passion, it is my Religion!
        DIY whatever it is..!!

          4. No one is an expert here. So respect fellow stunters for whatever he knows.
          5. Incase someone borrows bike from fellow stunter, it would be PURELY on Break It, Fix It basis.
          6. Speed trials, Stunt trials, Insane riding etc will NOT be entertained under any circumstance. If u want to stunt, do it on the stunt strip.
          7. It is advisable to remove all the fiber parts of the bike well in advance & have sufficient fuel but not a full tank. I would be coming on a totally naked bike.
          8. These are a few rules which have to be followed. Still confused, start reading from point number 1.
Precise and crisp. Nice going bud.

And about choosing the R15 over 220, well......let me just say the mind kept saying 220S but heart was drooling over r15. Resale value was taken into consideration as well. The most imp factor I put my money on was, HANDLING. R15 is way above than 220(personal opinion) in that dept. I know for a fact 220 would fly past me on a straightline anyday with its brutual power but that old lill saying of "its not always the ride but the rider". R15 just felt right like an overall package. Let 'em overtake me on d straights , ill get emm on d turns..let emm show their brut power, i got the handling to match. Honestly, on an R15 one gets to learn and improve the very art of riding a lil more and take it to next level compared to a 220. All said and done, in my personal opinion 220S is the best looking bike out there. It jus looks freeking awsome..... ! (wish R15 had d looks of 220S)

Ona Lighter Note : 220 is like d Stoner's Ducati....brute, staraightline rocket and R15 is like d Rossi's M1...lacks a bita power but better handling.

I completely support the "Safety Gear" part which Rahul had mentioned in his post. We are in the process of regularizing these things in all cities and good to see Hyd xBhpians are also trying to implement the safety gear thing in their G2G's.

@Rahul-I'm not sure but I guess many guys won't have elbow & knee gaurds currently with them so everyone should be given a month or so to make the purchase of same but the rest of the safety gear part should be mandatory for all from the next G2G itself.

Mash: You will surely have everyone's backing when you have all your documents in place. Documents are not only required for G2Gs, but also while riding to work/college.

If thats the minimum safety gear then I wonder whats a maximum safety gear..let me guess..mmmm...Ironman suit?

Mash: Your own Safety and safety of others around you is the basic DNA this community works on. No one wishes or is even asked to wear a full leather racing suit for a ride. All one is asked to wear is basic safety gear which as mentioned is Helmet, gloves, Elbow guard , knee guard and shoes. This is for your own safety.

Nywys, I dont think I'll be coming in for any G2G's then...coz I ride with just my helmet...and if gloves, elbow & knee pads are mandatory even for G2G's/small ride then should I assume that everyone HERE was wearing them

MaSh: YES, Everyone wears them, and I suggest you wear them too. Its not about wearing the gear for a ride only. It should become a part of your biking. You don't have to be on the highway or ghats to have a fall, that can happen as soon as you exit your gate at home. There is no harm in being prepared.
                  Welcome to xBHP.

                  Hope to meet you soon.

                  • For General G2Gs Helmet is Must.
A Jacket & gloves are recommended.
                    Shoes are also a requirement.
However these can be general daily use ones.
They need not be TRUE Riding Gear.
Anything which protects the rider from the elements is Sufficient.

However Rahul was talking about the Stunt G2G.
Even I agree with Rahul in this matter.
There is no Second chance in a Stunt G2G.
This applies even for Ride G2Gs also.

If I read it right, Rahul meant the same even for G2G's and Small rides...will quote him again if someone missed it:

I dont make rules, But still I will take the privelige of telling you few that we have been following since few years in City G2G's or the G2G's just for sake of meeting eatch other and no involving any ride.

These are few things we follow for City G2G's.

                          1. Be it a G2G or not, Helmet is the thing you MUST not forget before you are on the road with the bike. Make sure your bike is in healthy condition and follow the traffic rules.

                          2. RC, Insurace, PUC and Licsense are not optional. These are MANDATORY. If your bike is not from the residing state, dont forget to have NoC also. A group will always attract cops and people, so lets be legal with this.

                          3. Jacket and Gloves arent going to hurt any way. So why not start using them. They are very usefull and will avoid irritating injuries. But for City G2G it is not must but preferable.

All the above three are to be done generally for any human being who rides a bike, they not specific to a G2G.

And In case of Stunt G2G, (I belive we dint have one in Hyderabad till now), Even a IRONMAN suit will not gaurantee you that you wont have injuries. Protect yourself as much as you can thats what we can say.

ALL: Keep an eye on MEGA G2G thread for updates.

                            • @harish: Chillax dude, just understand that more than all the safety gear mentioned.. the mindset of the rider is important.. If any1 is a rash driver with utter disregard for his and others lives, then even a motoGP race suit cant save him when he comes under the tires of a truck or something.

That's what Rahul was trying to say I guess.. stunts ke liye we need a little more than a helmet dont u agree? That too when we are going to be learning them.

For city g2g's and all (even day to day commuting), all of us carry (and use) a good helmet, thats the MINIMUM. Anything more than this is great if u use it... but not everyone has elbow pads, knee pads etc with them, but with a little research u can zero in on a good pair and buy them. A jacket + helmet combo is the bare minimum on rides.

In case you're planning for a bit of riding away from the city now or in the future, then please be assured that they are an INVESTMENT that will pay back ten-thousand fold..
