Awesome strip man.. I wanna feel the burning rubber on freshly laid tarmac.. If there is no cop trouble at all we can fix this as the place for stunting & also the future drags.. I hope it is away from residential areas or it would attract lots of crowd.

It is pretty much away from residence or public view (as you can see from the pics). I think cops would not play spoilsport as the road is not yet open to general public.

And i think it somewhere near Gachibowli.

It aint Gachibowli. The road is pretty much levelled upto 75 odd % of d stretch....then there is a slope. The tarmac is bloody lengthy and if a Qarter mile drag, then the slope would not even come into picture not even as an exit point.

If its a slope, then v can get better exit sppeds :P lol,...BTW vinu - The first cornering pic IS AWESOME!!!!

It will not be revealed online!!! It will be only known to the organriser!!! the rest just follow blind folded to maintain it a top secret??? (but I heard secret is something which is shared between only two people at a time!!..... strange!!)

Not much of a secret at all. Will reveal more details after a visit to the spot with few active members from here and finalising how feasible it is to have a drag meet out there.

I might be riding to Suryalanka this weekend with few members from DRC (Deloitte Riders Club)

I am dropping out for various reasons(one major reason being, its the weekend when F1 season starts, yipee). Many more dropping out too. Should get a clear picture by Thursday.

Attention, Dragsters.... Found a really cool strip to drag on. Infact two drag meets (non xbhp) have already been sucessfully completed at the location. Its a really long stretch of newly laid tar carved right throgh the middle of huge rocks. Best part, its not yet open to public or motorists and is completely isolated. Cops did turn up when we were out there doing what we all do, but they didnt mind. They said we can carry on and infact started asking questions about bikes, price etc and played the part of audience. I even borrowed match box to lit ciggys and they even clicked few pics as we were posing.

I think its a safe place have drags, untill its thrown open to public. Here are some pics :-

My personal view - let a bike remain a bike lol. Not a great fan of aliens etc here and I am just wondering how much adversely it must have effected the overall aerodynamics of the awesome machine plus it mite have also blocked some of the rider view.

Leaving that view aside, nice creativity and hard work there.
