Guys,

I might be riding up from BLR to Hyd and I might be in Hyd for a couple of days. I am stopping over at Mantralayam on the way up. I need input as to some nice places to visit; perhaps towards Vijayawada direction. I can get back to BLR the long way around too.

I am in the process of planning, so throw all you can at me.

Telangana people are not aware.

Since I am from Rayalaseems region, I will throw some suggestions.
1. Belum Caves, Kurnool District. NH7 pass right through this district.
2. Srisailam Dam & Temple
3. Bapatla Beach.

If you want to visit The Huge NANDI of LEPAKSHI. Once you enter the AP broders, On NH7, You need to take Right turn before a place Called Pala-samudram (mean milk-ocean ) in Anantapur district. It is not much far from NH7.

Other members will suggest you mroe places.

Banglore to Mahanandi (if time permits Belum caves too) to Srisailam to Hyderabad to Ngarjuna Sagar to Suryalanka beach to Tirupati to Banglore.

hey dude...i just wanna say one word... AWESOME !!!

the roads are dead beautiful..except for a small detour where you have to go through a town,everything is fine...after some 290kms from hyderabad there will be a BP bunk Ghar dhaba where aloo paratha is delicious that was my 1st stop after starting from my home at 5.30am.. then i rode up all the way to blore by 1.30pm..total kms was 630kms.

but be aware that at some stretches even though four lane roads are there,oncoming traffic tends to come in your opposite direction instead of their lane..so its always safer if you ride in the middle or slightly towards the left side of the road...be safe

Am planning to buy riding gloves. Need them for daily use.(office)

Please let me know if there are any shops in Hyderabad where i can buy them directly.

I rode to banglore one month back.
Trust me, the entire stretch is one of the most awesome roads you can see.

the first two hundred Km's i covered in abt 2 hours as i was riding solo.
The rest 400 took me abt 7 hours as i was by another friend and we made very frequent stops.

which route will you be taking, actually kiran and me have planned to go for a photo shoot meet or else would have surelly come to see you off .
