Full review of the ABS

One word I can say about the ABS is Simply SUPERB!!!

I don't want to comment on how it works, Why it works or any thing else.
It is not a even a true ABS however it helps a lot in keeping the vehicle in control all the time During Panic/ hard braking & steering under Braking!


The Test Results -

1).The Rear under hard braking does not step out!!!
I braked hard in a panic situation as a big stone came on my way flying from the tires of a big truck.
I was riding around 110+ & braked hard & tried to turn the vehicle a little also.
To my Surprise in that speed without losing control I was able to steer it away when the brake was applied!!!
That makes a real testament of the efficiency of the product!!

2).The Braking Distance Reduced!!!
It reduced the braking distance only by may be a couple of metres in a high speed sudden braking!!
However that couple of meteres can be a life saver!!!
To top it up I did not lose control on the high speed brakings at all!!

Ravi struck in SR nagar traffic, now that would be a nightmare.

After two hours negotiation for mechanic, I finally decided to do it myself and got the cable from kukatpally and changed the cable myself.

Oh you call this as a test and a result of ABS ??

So was your p220 rear loosing control earlier when ever you braked hard and now its in complete control ?

Good suggestion buddy. I think feedback such as these will help Prabakar a lot. Prabakar, I think you should look in to this.

I guess you are getting confused with modern ABS which rely on electronics.

Please read the article on ABS, esp. the first lines, which say:

An anti-lock braking system, or ABS (from the German, Antiblockiersystem) is a safety system which prevents the wheels on a motor vehicle from locking while braking.

PS: I think you are working under lot of stress. All you need is a good thai massage. I will look into this and will PM you the details.
