Guys need some info. I need to reach the 'Taramati Baradari Resort' from the Bangalore highway. Is the below given google map accurate?
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Bengaluru,+Karnataka,+India&daddr=Hyderabad,+Andhra+Pradesh,+India+(Taramati+B aradari)&hl=en&geocode=FVbuxQAdCP-fBCltTrTJcBauOzHgT35R6MPf-A%3BCUvszy9ynJ58FXsiCQEdp_WrBCGNKMRYdArpSA&mra=pe&mrcr=0&sll=15.019075,77.860107&sspn=5.473359,9.876709&ie=UTF8&ll=17.269187,78.375607&spn=0.042292,0.077162&z=14
How is the road condition of this route once it branches off from NH7? Is it complete? Traffic jam prone?_________________________

Coming back to the route; the route you've chosen is through outer ring road. trucks, autorikshaws and bikes are not allowed on that road. its a 8/10 lane express way. most probably you will be caught where you get down at AP Police academy exit. (if you are coming at odd times like after 9pm or early morning before 6, you could get lucky)
The entire route is express way so you wont get into any kind of jam. from the place where you exit from outer ring road is a 6lane highway which is very recently constructed. so no traffic jams here either. but just watch out for dogs and cattle.
if you are still not sure, just give me a call when you are nearing the orr entry on nh7 I could guide you from there.Last edited by BOOO; 05-24-2010, 05:04 PM.Ride with Angels

I'd be coming by 4 wheels so I should be allowed onto the expressway. I guess this is the best and fastest way to reach there then. I'd be entering this place around 12 in the afternoon, considering that I'd be starting around 3-4AM from Bangy so no question from the cops too.
Are the cops over enthu to catch outside state vehicles in Hyd?_________________________

btw, I forgot. you should not get down at police academy, you should get down at the next intersection where you just have some barricades for the junction. from there take right and go 2km to get to taramati. its much easier. the junction is known as gandipet junction. and you will see a huge flyover above you which is under construction. in the map, you see osman sagar road.Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostThanks for the quick heads up on the route.

yes
exactly. You should remember that you will see a very beautiful straight loong stretch (140kmph+) after police academy then a simple right hander. after that you will see a junction with some barricades to slow down the traffic. and you will see a flyover under construction above you.
