Ah I miss those good old days! All these guys coming to the beach roads! Will be moving to doha or dubai very soon and just cant wait to get my share of eye candy

OT: I was just checking the classifieds to buy a car there (bike makes no sense as I cant ride it in the heat during daytime). Ill be there for a period of 4-5months, so going to go for a used car in a budget of 4.5lacs INR. The general options are;

1. 1998-2001 Mustangs run about 1Lac-1.8L kms
2. 1998-2001 Audis (A4, A6 and few old A8s) run about 1.5L-2.5Lkms
3. 1998-2001 BMW 5series, same odo as audis
4. 2000-2002 Honda Accord 2.4 with odo 1.5-2L kms.
5. 2002-2006 Medium segment cars like Lancers, citys, civics, etc.

Am confused which would make sense. And help?

You mite also want to have a look at a Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8. One very beautiful car I have seen here thus far. Not really sure on how it compares with others in its class.

On my way to office today afternoon, I hired a taxi which was a Toyota Camry - the guy was speaking english and OMG the ODO read 3.8lac kms. It was a 2007 model and no work done on the engine as yet itseems.

So I think it all depends on what exactly we are looking for in the car and accordingly it would make sense etc

Most likely I will have a two-wheeler in about a week

It was a nice small ride along the shamirpet high way... We stopped by VICEROY (dhaba) for dinner

Shashi turned up a bit too late.. he came to the dhaba after we completed our dinner
But eventhough late he came with his Latest brand new R15
Every1 had a stroll around..
Had some chit chat and left the dhaba @ around 11.

You are getting old!! Go buy the mustang!!! Now dont tell me that you need space for your parents too in the car, in that case Mustang wouldn't be in the list.

you are even old guy!!! I pity you!!! You could have at-least suggested him the M3 or at least something on the lines of Audi A4 3.0 TDI or its counterparts and yeah coupe only!!!

wow what choice of cars, but i would personally pick up a mustang eyes closed . its the ultimate rebel car .

nice to see some activity in the thread.

Last weekend(i:e thursday evening) I went for a long walk(about a cpl of hours) with my cousins here(Jeddah). Though we didn't really go to the place(beach) where a lot of bikes assemble on weekends we were walking on the road that goes/comes from there and wo wo wo, Ferraris, Lambos, Monster truck, A8 etc etc and at the signals I saw R1s, Busas, CBR etc at different ocassions blasting off when the lights go green leaving the 4-wheelers looking stationary, oooooo the sounds and it was nice to see cpl of Harleys zooming past. Planning to go to the beach etc and check out next weekend.

Will start saving this month onwards for a Bike

Was a nice, small and a funny meet. More people would have added to fun, though we werent bored at all.
Had nice dinner...not much for me though..roti and egg burji was good. I am in for it again.
