hi guys..,

As many of you already know that my babe aint doing so well as how it used to and I was seriously in search of a well trained mech in Hyderabad rather than some idiot who "learns" on our babies..!!! !!! Finally..., found one.., who is a Hyosung company trained mech for Comets/Aquilas..!! Yippee..!! !!!

Coming to the point now.., My comet used to choke for a sec or two when sudden bursts of throttle was given as if there isnt enough fuel supplied or more air getting in. Got my baby checked many times by many popular mechs here in Hyderabad, some were even SBK mechs I know.., but sadly no one could even find where the issue was. All the time.., they just cleaned the carb and fixed it back saying everything is just in place and fine..! My search for a well trained mech for servicing my babe.., finally ended today..!! He took the comet for a spin, checked the iginition system and said there is definitely an issue with the carb. He opened the carb.., every single part of it, it was a piece of cake for him..!! (trust me guys.., comet's dual carbs are very very complex..!!) and within mins.., he showed me this...

Its the needle jet (not the main or pilot jet)n its screw..! The earlier mech (A**H***) sorry abt the language.., broke the needle jet screws of both the carbs..!! Yes, both..!! and fitted them without even letting me know..!! Coz of this.., both the needle jets started moving when given throttle.., pushing in more air from the airfilter leaving the engine choke when given sudden throttles...! Rushed to a autospares shop checked with all the jets of various vehicles which suits almost near the original shape. Finally got some rx100 jets to a lathe shop to get them altered/threaded into place and had to get them gas welded to close the nozzle opening at one end.

...thats coz me and my bro often head to OU campus.....now all my bikes are almost ok. Splendor, RTR and Zma needs tyre change. Splendor engine is almost perfect execpt for the slight lag in throttle response. RTR needs servicing. And zma.....little bit of work still left in it....will do that in next service!

Hi Guys...Im from xbhp bangalore. Am planning to Ride down to Jabalpur next weekend which will take me through Hyderbad-Nagpur. Was actually planning to ride down all night to Hyderbad, stay there and then continue but since I've never been to this route, I'v started to think otherwise.

A start at 4 AM seems OK.

Can anyone guide me through the necessary route details?

do you want to know how the road is from blore to hyderabad or from hyderabad to jabalpur?? from hyderabad to nagpur the road is very good...there are no issues...and a friend told me that from nagpur to jabalpur also the road is good.you can start from blore and do a night ride to hyderabad..having a decent rest you can start to nagpur which is 500 kms (approx) from hyd...accordingly you can take rest or continue to jabalpur which is 300kms(approx)..

however since the weather is good i suggest you to ride during the day time from blore to hyderabad...have rest here in hyd and start early at 3am to jabalpur

I would have liked to ride down during the night, but since I'll be in the office whole day, I don't wanna be konking off in the middle of the night while riding. I can take the slip down the tarmac, but my babe getting hurt would give me a heart attack.

The other worrying factor are the petrol bunks. Hope there are plenty and clean ones.

ok ok...so you want to know how is bang to hyd route also

i did the bang hyd 600kms in 7 and half hours dude..with just a break of 5mins (dont do this as i was foolish enough to get killed by my stupidity)..the only trouble is you cant do high speeds during night time.because though the highway is a 4 lane and 2 lane,some road work is going on at different points.and the vehicles go on either ways sometimes on both lanes..not to mention the numerous cattle hazzards...and another irritating factor are the wierd speed breakers.they are not the typical bump type...they are like steps you see..when going at 120kmph you will suddenly feel that there is no road and the bike is flying for a couple of seconds...and similarly you will feel a sudden jump as if you have climbed up a stone.

aside from these factors i find no other worries from blore to hyd route...i would recommend you to start early at 4 from blore and reach hyderabad by afternoon and nagpur by night that is if you can ride all day without fatigue..i think you can also find time to rest in hyderabad and then start to nagpur...take the night off there and then start to jabalpur.

there is the jawaharlal nehru expressway.you can detour to left when you come to airport flyover junction (the point where if we take a right we go to the airport flyover...we have to take a left there).. from there gachibowli miyapur road through kondapur..(theres a pearl yamaha service center there.you can check your bike there by a mechanic called shanker who does awesome job)..you then have to take a right (NH9) and then a left which will take you to medak road(junction where miyapur cross roads junction is situated) from there its a straight medak road where you will be connected to nh7....

am sure other members would help with suggesting other routes

or i can take you from airport till nh7 starting in trafficless roads dude
