Need to know condition of the road from Thane to Igatpuri... If anyone has been on same route please share details...

Went there last week. Not in the best shape (when is it ever) but very doable. I don't understand your concern for the road though. Do you expect to pop wheelies there?

Wheelies not my thing but burnout for sure

Actually few of friends going in Car and I am thinking of Riding on bike along with them.. but right now am at work so after working whole night dont wanna ride on bad roads in morning... so just in double mind between Car and Bike ride

Calling all bhukkads of Bombay city... Planning a gtg on Saturday (tomorrow) night at Mohammedali road for Paya, tangdi kabab, malpua, phirni, khajla barfi and anything else you can lay your hands on... Ofcourse it is on PYOB basis... Clarifying incase someone gets their hopes high...

Actually few of friends going in Car and I am thinking of Riding on bike along with them.. but right now am at work so after working whole night dont wanna ride on bad roads in morning... so just in double mind between Car and Bike ride

I saw this very late (right now) so I guess either you rode or you didn't. Actually the roads aren't bad at all for a casual quick ride and the weather has been beautiful so far so would have been worth it. In fact I happened to hit the same road yesterday and the weather was cloudy though it didn't rain so Kasara got the full servicing

This is my route on every weekend i usually ride from Andheri to Nashik on ever weekend.

As you known the how good our roads in rainy season. though the NH3 has newly laid.

1). once you leave kalyan fhata you can cruise at the speed of 90+ the road is in very good condition, but be careful as you will face some good big path holes in the middle of road some time mostly on left lane of road when you dont expect it

2). Till Padga you can ride at high speed but once you see padga please slowdown to 60-70, some speed breakers are there which are sometime not visible.

3). after crossing Shahpur you will see a board "Toll Road Start 500 m ahead" after this the road is in excellent condition till Igatpuri.

Ride safe and have happy riding bro.

Thats what jaisalmer does to you... its a beautiful place, the rajasthan you imagine in your heads.... Had it not been the project work, I would have joined these guys too!
When you head to udaipur, take the pokhran road... one of the finest stretches of tarmac in the country! It ends on a T junction and there is a dhaba there where I have had my most memorable alu and paneer parathas!

Went to Vardyini Waterfalls yesterday with Rony. Good place. Bad Roads (NH 17 was nice though in patches it was bad. Pali Khopoli was bad throughout!). Pics, Rony can do the needful

Thanks Dhiraj.. but as sirjiii said I went there and came.. I did 110+ most of the time post Kalyan and hit 130+ every now and then in between as Roads were empty..

Btw any1 wants to enjoy nice waterfall picnic which is not crowded there is this place near Igatpuri Ghatan Devi Temple very nice spot.. One can enjoy waterfall rappelling here or just cool-off in nice water pond above...

Winzee Dude! People still ride.. Maestro and group went to rajasthan.. Alankar did his ride, coz did umbergaon and around... Rony did the waterfall thing!
I did a HUGE 50km ride within vasai in total in two days!
