This Saturday eve plan karo Dhaba G2G. This way we can have a G2G and be at home the whole day too .

i m planning to buy a tankbag for everyday use. but will the magnetic tankbag ruin the colour on the tank. i have seen sachin nair's bike. his bike's tank had many scratches due to tank bag.

any suggestions how to avoid the scratches??

yeah and abt the dhaba g2g, nice to see at least something is being planned. will try to come.

I had stitched a smooth velvet cloth on Sagar Raikar's tank bag during my leh ride and my tank was protected from scratches. But the only disadvantage is that when you go on extreme ruff terrains the tank bag may slip on to the sides. But now Sagar uses the same on his P220 with out any issues.

i use tankbag for everyday use, there are few minor scratches but it can be avoided by taking a little care while removing bag from tank. also you can keep cloth between tank & bag to avoid scratches.


also, get cramster tankbag which has good magnets so that it wont fall or slip here & there while riding bike.

Hi Saurabh,
Take a piece (little thick) of neoprene material/foam, size of that tank bag & stitch it to the tank bag or place it on the tank & wrap it with a vegetable wrap. You can also use only vegetable wrap but wrap it multiple times.
