Test for Fuel Adulteration

I suffered from fuel adulteration, so just find out how to test for fuel adulteration. some of xbhpians might be knowing this, but just posting this ..


We can easily rely on a company-owned and operated petrol pump in your city. Also we can do a small quality check at all petrol pumps. It is called a filter-paper test. All petrol pumps keep a filter paper to check the fuel quality. Ask for the filter paper, put 2 drops of petrol on the filter paper, keep it for 2 minutes to let the petrol evaporate. It should leave no stain on the filter paper. If it leaves the stain on the paper, then it is a sign of fuel adulteration.

Unicorn has AC supply to headlight bulb, which you will need to convert in DC first.
Then only you can replace stock bulb by HID.

have you already got the HID? if no, then cheap chinese ones cost 1200 - 1500. most of them are 6000K (bright white with bluish tinge).

In thane, nr Teen petrol Pump area, there are many car accessary shops. All stock bike HID kits.

I know a guy in Kalwa. quite trustworthy.

okay ... ... actually wanna cruise more ... like beyond 200 km ( one side ) ...

and i dont wanna go to nh17 had very bad experience

we went to alibaug in a car n it took us more then 4 hrs to reach alibaug ... and it wasnt a weekend ... and that single lane road with potholes ....

LOL! But the sad part is, to go to some of the best places in Maharashtra we have to go via that road. On a bike the road is fun albeit risky. Make sure you ride only in daylight over there. At night everyone goes crazy on that road. Some of the worst accidents have taken place on that road.
The scenic beauty that the road has to offer is worth all the pain.
