Wanted to install a tyre sealant in my tyres. Remember some folks (I think Satyen was one of the members) here getting some tyre sealant installed in their bikes. Wondering which one it was? Ride-On?

Yes. It was Ride On TPS.

I too had installed Ride On.Later on it was installed by Satyen.
My advice, dont get it.Waste of money. It didnt worked for me when i had puncture.As per the person who installed, i have to ride for atleast 5 kms for the sealant to cover the tyre but i had done almost 20 kms, didnt work. Had to get he puncture done./
A friend of mine who got the sealant done with me on the same day informed me, when he ad a puncture, only white liquid came out.So didnt work out for him as well.
1200 Rs completely wasted.

Its quite surprising. I have had two incidents since ride on.
1 - Bangalore when a metal chip peirced the tyre.. the peice was plucked out and I just took a round and it stopped
2 - At amboli a weird speared shaped pebble punctured the trye. We had just stopped for refreshments, so I let it stay there. Once we were done, I just plucked it off and continued riding. 0 airpressure loss! I have video in full HD for this

Its not 5KMs, its just 5 minutes for the tyre to roll and the puncture to fix.

Can you illustrate what had happened step by step. Also was the puncture on the side walls?

Where are you all going guys? Make sure you all wear all the safety gears before you head out of the city and ride safe !

I am about to take my CBR for the first service sooner than later.

Also if any CBR owner could suggest me the best ASC in mumbai to get the service done without much hassles. As many have mentioned and even I have noticed (at the showroom), the lack of knowledge among the staffs about the 250cc engine.

Nope, I think the limited edition was launched in 2010. Mine is repainted.
