Ok. In case u plan to tag along, we'll be meeting at the end of Majiwada flyover (Thane), near Lodha at 6.00am

Did this solo today: Thane, Maharashtra to Thane, Maharashtra - Google Maps

felt good. a bit of NH17 then Tamhini ghat and then home via NH4. Went for a ride after soooo many days and a solo after soooo many months.

Though the Tamhini ghat section is scenic but the road condition is not so nice. its butter smooth at some places then bumpy at some and very patchy otherwise. had nice views of Mulshi backwaters and some nice valleys. Did not click any pics though as it was a very quick ride. did not have much time for clicking pics, so I was not carrying my camera.

NH17 is also, as it should be in mid may. patchy at some places and other wise OK. 4 laning is going on at some places but thankfully there are no diversions. well at least till Kolad, because I went till Kolad only. I know, the real fun of NH17 starts after Mahad.

And nothing much to say about NH4, its in very good condition as always.

by the way, saw one guy with a yellow DSG jacket (the same one which belonged to Sachin Nair ). he had stopped for water near Nagothane. i think i know him..... but I am not sure anybody from here??? just had a quick glance at his face and he looked familiar. i did not stop as i was in a bit of hurry.

also, met MG at RK's at Lonavla. It was nice to see you MG after a long time

Hey it was nice to see you there. Actually it was a totally unplanned ride for me. Just set out on NH 17, and saw the board near kolad that shoes Pune is some 100 of kms, and the old thought of doing tamhini ghat. So carried on that road.
