That means some of us, including me, will be spending 2nd consecutive Republic day in guju land..... And what an awesome state it is indeed....

On 26th Jan 2012, eleven bikers (4 from Mumbai and 7 from pune) started their journey towards viramgam (some 80 odd kms from ahmedabad). We were there to enjoy rann of kuch and nal sarovar. Just can not forget the super fun filled four days spent in guj.... Awesome roads, awesome people, awesome food and of course one awesome crash :-P

Hello mumbai guys, since there is already a lot of enthusiasm for talks about the interstate meet here are few key points that we need to plan on.
So far the plan has been a bit kaccha without any confirmation.

January is the month of exams where several members of xbhp-gujarat will be having exams (quite a lot of them are college students)
It will be convenient if this meet was rescheduled to February first week.

So currently we'll be having a discussion session tonight whether february is best suited or not. There are few office people like myself who are fine with anytime on a weekend.

Ill list the names who are interested in this interstate ride so far. These riders have preference for the ride to happen in February and will confirm for the ride on for a weekend.

There will be a technical meet tonight to discuss the venue from our side, kindly give in inputs on the venue from your side as well. Gujarat is pretty much a flat terrain state so all the fun lies in the eastern forest areas of Gujarat which it shares with Madhya Pradesh.

Arey bhai I am in Ahmedabad for almost 2 years now, feeling like an unkeeel these days. Till I got duked I was riding my KA-reg 220 here in Ahmedabad.

For the venue it will be most likely somewhere near the border areas of Gujarat and Maharastra. We're looking at places near Silvassa to be more precise. (credit to Ayaz for finding several good spots)

There's a meet tonight here and we will update you the details for the interstate mega g2g.

Note: Since many of the riders here are still students and suffering from an ailment called engineering, January is a tough time for most of them to make it as they have exams during that time.
Therefore February 2nd week or end of 1st week is the ideal time for most. If possible we'd like to organise the ride along these dates.


p.s Ride to Daman I can join in anytime, as long its a on a weekend , no need to have an interstate meet there as its purpose for Gujarat people is well known *ahem ahem*
p.p.s Will there be a 'spark' coming to Daman ?

Satyen he is actually from Bengal, studied in Banglore and lives in Ahmedabad, now just needs to marry a North Indian somehow to complete is cycle

As for the Interstate why don't guys make a separate thread for that so that the discussions remain focused.
