I disappear for two weeks and I had to spend two hours scooping through the pages since I last posted! But I was half-glad to find my name twice. Half due to the fact I was remembered on account on my C.R.A.S.H. But please don't speculate on the incident. If you want details, please ask Atul or Chetan. Anything I say will make me look more defensive. What with the anniversary coming and all, I am not in a mood to be embarrassed anymore!

Seriously though, I remember that incident every second because my back ribs still hurt and the pain is now permanent, I think. I am getting a second opinion though, part of the reason why I shifted to Nashik. The ONE time I don't wear the protective stuff and the front tube bursts like a sutali bomb. This kind of stuff doesn't spare SUV's and cars, let alone a bike! So what people say about protective gear is absolutely important, riding at whatever speed.

Anyway, sorry to Spiderweb and of course, my fellow 'un-kills' for not attending the safety meet at Worli sea-face. I was in Nashik by then. Shifted two weeks back. And NO internet since then, plus Airtel has shitty service at my place, so absolutely no contact! I got the net three hours back, big thanks to BSNL. That too because I carry my own modem; else god knows how many months I'd have to wait!

All right! Some shocking news about Nashik - Almost 45% of the bikes in Nashik have FFE by default. They sound louder than outdated diesel engine trucks. It makes all K&N and Pipercross filters pale in comparison!

Also I request you guys, if you are ever in Nashik, DON'T EVEN THINK about crossing 40-50 kmph after you cross my place. No matter how darn good your bike handles, the town idiot CAN, and WILL appear out of nowhere, run into you HEAD-ON, leaving you with zero time to react! The situation is worse than villages encountered elsewhere. Almost all people are day-dreaming or something while on the road. Yes, that includes the car-owners, cyclists and pedestrians too!

I still have to encounter any biking enthusiast here, though I have heard rumors about a dirt-bike racing scene underground. I'll confirm later.

There s a shop near Goregaon called A.H.Helmets, which i believe most of the members know about... You get knee + Elbow Guards there for 750 bucks...

bionic knee guards start from 1500 onwards. Fox bionics are available for 2000. You have option of A* and cramster as well.. for bionic am talkin here...

If you want in Dadar then go to smart designs.. you'll get A* as well as Cramster.. For Fox go to A H...
