The stuff I would like to learn would be
    1. Disc brake maintenance (both front and rear) Thats the part which gives me the most trouble on the bike.
    2. I had my first puncture on the bike and the puncturewala took just about 3 minutes to fix it...seemes easy.. need practice.
    3. Air filter cleaning
    4. Electrical troubleshooting
    5. Check spark plug condition
    6. some playing around with carb jets.

Note: Oil change is not something which will be needed in the middle of nowhere.. other issue would be disposing off used oil.Dont think training on this will be required. Only thing which could be required is How to and How much oil to top up.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

This should be good enough to get people interested in the programme and get started

Hahaha .... As if the person who mentions his topics will not listen or attend for other topics .... he will keep his ears and eyes closed ..... I know you are joking but some may take it seriously !! .... AFA fee (if any) is concerned we can divide it equally amongst ourselves ~!

          • You really wanted to learn everything in ONE day itself?

There might be a fee associated, then again there might be a sponsor to pitch in that as well... so for now assume there will be a fee and so write specific topics that you folks want to attend.

Nope Sir ..... All topics need not be covered in one session itself or 1 go .... As mentioned in my earlier post (#10590) we can take them in batches !! .... And I guess fee would be needed only if we are hiring some professional guy to train us or if we are using a mechanic's garage for the same ..... else I dont see any particular reason for charging fees particularly if few seniors want to share their knowledge with juniors in kind

Many topics are listed in that Chennai thread ... Seniors can sort them out in order of importance and tackle some in batches during consecutive G2Gs ... It would be better if seniors themselves enlist relevant topics and you in particular could take the lead in doing so for all the right reasons !!
