Guys, Do we have someone amongst us who has got a free flow exhaust in his Pulsar 220 ?

.. tonight at around 9:40 pm, I was taken over by a speeding rider around Bhandup-Pumping while coming towards Airoli, Navi Mumbai...

I was on my Fazer, and despite doing 120, I couldn't catch him.. Within a few seconds when he overtook me.. all I could see was, the Pulsar 220, free flow exhaust, and the guy's back with a black leather type jacket..

If it was a Red 220 then that's definitely Ajinkya. He has fitted Joel's FFE on his 220. He works at Thane.

No wasn't me, also i dont own a leather jacket.

If it was red, then there would be two options, either ajinkya or Neil, a friend of mine.

new year r2g/yamaha championship

damn , its very difficult to find more details about the new year ride , which sounds very intersting btw. Gokarna is a tripped out place to be for new years .spent about half an hour scrimmaging through the thread searching for more buzz on the r2g. have fun at the ducati flag-off. i shall be present at the Yamaha GET SET GO racing event organised at IMAX wadala (mumbai) on 12TH of December .. incidentally about which also is not mentioned anywhere i guess. cheers !

Yeap, you are right. Completed my work at khargone-khandwa-burhanpur-indore-ujjain-mandideep & bhopal.

Jabalpur-raipur-bhillai-durg & rajnandgaon is left.

After that will be returning from my saddlesore route of nagpur again.

Another request for tomorrow's ride:

As the riders arrive at McDonald's please arrange yourself into 3 groups. When you ride in, just spot the group with lesser number of bikes and join this group. This way there is less "magajmari" in the morning.

We will be parking on the Service Road outside McDonalds as bike parking inside is limited. As we are reaching a bit later in the morning than usual I expect a lot of cars at McD's so the service lane makes more sense.

Please don't leave your keys in the ignition, helmet on the seat, gloves on the tank and wander off...nobody will take responsibility for your stuff.

Remember:
1. Helmet
2. Gloves
3. Shoes / Riding Boots
4. License (original + copy)
5. Insurance (original + copy)
6. PUC (original)
7. Registration (original + copy, even for smart-card)
8. Pillion also to wear Helmet + Gloves + Shoes

Carry copies because I always show the copy to the cops first because they have a bad habit of pocketing the valuable documents and demanding bribe. Since the group size is large they may either leave us alone...or get brave anticipating a major payoff.

Extra:
1. If you have a GoPro or a Flip camera, bring it with you and document the ride.
2. If you have a portable air compressor and a tubeless tire repair kit, please bring it along.
3. 2-stroke riders please bring plug spanners and 2T oil.


I am tempted to bring along the RD350 but I think I will stick with the MT01 for this ride. Getting the single seat kit fitted today! Yippee!

Um...that kinda means no pillion so Shruti Haasan can take the bus

Some ****er cut my bike's horn wire ..... realised it mid-way riding to office ..... please suggest a mechanic nearby Crompton Greaves Ltd., Kanjurmarg East who can fix it !!

PS: There was horrible traffic on JVLR near Powai IITB main gate .... Some terrorist has escaped and he is taking that road (it seems) ..... so a naka-bandi was in place with army guys ready with snipers and bullet shields .... Please avoid the road if possible !
