PS: I see sarcasm returning on this thread (referring to earlier posts) .. I was just intending to share a freak incident which happened to me and my reaction to it ... all in good spirit ... such comments make me think why I posted it on the first place !

I hate sarcasm ! ... Taking things sportingly is another matter ... but if any one has anything to say then he can say that directly, sarcasm is the worst way to express it ... And regarding keeping the thread alive, my post was not aimed at it ... as mentioned I just wanted to share my experience and lessons learnt from it in context of the discussion which was going on ... I think that is why we all are here for and not to make fun/mockery of others !

Is it just me or does xbhp keep crashing? Ne way, kutto se yad aya, I just had been to nin's colony, where I used to stay before and which is famous for all it's dogs! So I was just riding around when suddenly out of nowhere a dog is barking trying to bit my leg.... So I acc. and get away and the security guy was able to shoo away the dog but I had read somewhere in the forums that to get rid of dogs chasing your bike stop with a loud screech and then shoo away the dog and according to that person it usually worked for him, but I didn't want to risk being bitten so I just sped away. Well the dog would have my sandal on his face if it weren't for the security guard, lol. But still if he persisted any tips to get rid of them??? and halting wastn't an option cause more dogs would come. Nin never had a dog chase ur bike in your colony?lol

Halting!!! It works for me always....then start you bike slowly and move...stop again if they chase...dont rev hard or screech....loud noises might scare them momentarily, but they will come back to you.

Personal experience while with dogs from thane... dont know about Mumbai ka dogs

Any G2Gs this weekend or next one??? I won' tbe able to come for the next one cause dad's not home so istn't allowing but this week end in-city G2G ke liye I will surely be there.

If you are referring to my or subsequent posts related to overtaking and panic braking then it does not fall under OT category at all. I had asked MG regarding what all can be discussed on Offline G2G thread and his reply was, I quote :-

We(Moderators) generally don't intervene in G2G threads unless its very much required. Offline thread are almost similar to Offtopic threads and till the time the discussion revolves around bikes the thread is not touched.

Its only when the discussion traverses to something completely irrevelant like booze,other topic, using foul language that we intervene.

If needed you can use my post to quote ...

So please dont refer them as OT. What all other things, apart from bike discussion, goes on here may be OT
