PPS: Rony your ride has caught my attention, waiting for admissions(for the ride) to open

LOL ... admission is always open for all xBhpians yaar ... just gear up and join in ... I am just waiting to get some more info about this place so that we can make maximum out of our ride .... inputs from seniors (like Tushar's) would be handy .... soon ill upload a google doc to accommodate the list of confirmed riders !

Yes I remeber some riders left in between that was not because one of my volunteer was without
helmet it was because few riders wanted to go for a long ride.
Few had problem that why Roadshakers were leading. They were leading cus they
Knew how to ride in formation. By the way someone from our group was constantly riding off track I.e he
Was not riding in formation. Will upload that guys pic so all confilct will be sorted out.
Its time to get united and not to stick on one reason, yes we might have made some mistakes
Pls suggest us so that we can make this year better. Remember no one is perfect.
Its easy to say but last year I dint have a single person to volunteer for the ride.

My intention was not to spread something wrong about this ride,just wanted to point out something was missing(No volunteers,co-ordination etc which you already pointed out)last time which can be rectified and taken care in this event


Also please post the pic of the person of our group who was not following the rules ..It will be helpful to identify and punish stupid riders like them ..I hope that was not Veeral..Else we have to ban him again. :P

For a good cause we all are united..brother.And i am not blaming you or someone particular.That message was just an chingaari to invoke all this conversation.So that we can identify and rectify the issues we had last time and everything can be arranged and executed in the best possible manner this time.

DUDHANI

There was a nice thread in the tourer section describing the beauty of this place. Sadly the search option is returning no results now and I am not able to find that thread

To those who want to know the place in brief :-

"The Vanganga Lake and Island Garden : It is a beautiful lake garden situated at a distance of 5 km from the capital city of Silvassa. The rustic wooden bridges, the flowers, jogging paths, thatched huts, and paddleboats-all constitute an ideal ambiance for the honeymooners and for picnicers. It is a lovely lake garden, where audio video recording more than 25 Hindi feature films have been pictured.

Vanvihar Tourist Complex : Khanvel (Khanvel is a 20 km drive from Silvassa), and surrounded by lush green hills, with the beautiful Sakartod river flowing through. The drive to Khanvel is lined with tall trees on both sides of the road. This serene landscape is surrounded by lush green hills. Rolling Meadows, terraced gardens, rustic cottages is your chance to have a close encounter with Nature. The cottages in this complex are designed in the native style. The complex also has a Deer Park, and a green house.

Dudhani : Another 20 km drive from Khanvel, is Dudhani where the large waterfront of river Damanganga, provides a breathtaking view of the water-spread of Madhuban Dam. 15jan ko kaafi time hai...will let you know..

@ rony, make sure you enter silvassa from gujrat. Coz there is one right before mah-guj border which takes you directly at silvassa without entering gujrat. that route is not good for outsiders, as it is rural area people use to throw stones on vehicles & loot them. That route has a history. & if you are planning for a day ride, make sure you are atleast on NH 8 before dark & if you are planning for a stay then make sure it is in city or a crowded area.

i was told the same by others when i had been there...but my major travelling was during the daytime and stayed back there...so there wasnt any problem as such...

also if you have any plans of staying back there make sure you book a good hotel...good because we all know why diu,daman,silvassa are famous for and the kind of people present if you find a cheap hotel...

see the dhaba g2g veeral was talking about here is the one we all have to yet decide....the plan itself is tentative now !

and the pune dhaba g2g is just a 'dream run'...i was calling it so because i wont be able to ride with them to gokarna as i already have some other plans for the 31st...but will ride till pune with them and come back the next day...

And returning depends upon the time the Dhaba G2G winds up, right? I'm assuming the dhaba is going to be before Pune and not in Pune, correct me if I'm wrong.

It all depends on the timing, because at the moment, I am not in a position to stay overnight , ('cos if I do, ghar ke locks change ho jayenge and I'll be crashing at your place )

im yet to get in sync with satyen...he must be having a blast now at his birthday party and i dont want to spoil his fun by asking him all that now

i dont think with the pune guys along,the dhaba dinner would ever wind up early...if im going there i would be returning only the other day...will stay back at satyen's place...you dont worry you can sleep comfortably..i'll sleep in the balcony...

i pray the 'changing locks' thing doesnt happen though

finally i'll decide and let you know by tommorrow what is to be done...
