    Over the years, xBhp had been an inspiration to all of us to ride more, to explore more and to take biking as a way of life rather than a simple mode of transportation. And finally the date hits when it when it all started.. Yes.. I am talking about the ‪#‎xBhp12thAnniversary‬On that scheduled day, we planned to pay a tribute to xBhp for being such an inspiration as well the pride of the bikers nationwide. So on that day we will ride together and cut a cake on behalf of FMSC to celebrate & make the day memorable !!

    FMSC has planned a MEET on 28 th June 2015(Sunday) at Shibalik Food Park,Nababhat,Burdwan around 2pm.

    * Formation Ride
    * Cake cutting
    * Friendly chit- chat
    * Arrangement of snacks.Everyone must reach the venue by 2 pm.‪#‎xBhpKolkata‬ ‪#‎FMSC‬***Helmets and shoes compulsory

      Just to give a brief intro of Devilboy aka Jean Daniel.

      JDAN as he is better known is one of the two bikers from Shillong who have instrumental in building the xBhp Meghalaya chapter from the ground up. This chapter is the most active in the country and also probably has the maximum number of active participants. They have many events and activities throughout the year, in which they involve the local police and government as well. In our very brief visit to Shillong, we were blown away by the hospitality and arrangements which Jdan and team had made for everybody in a 300 strong G2G. I should also mention that he is the runner up of xBhp's Biker of the Year 2011.

      The reason i mention the above is because Jdan is probably asking for a pointsman from the Kolkata chapter for any future events/ rides/ activities etc., since it is easier to coordinate with a couple of people than everybody in the group. If you or anybody else from Kolkata would like to take the lead or initiative in coordinating for such things, then please do drop Jdan a PM.

      Cheers and all the best for future rides
      Thanks for the intro, Monk. I'll definitely contact him right away. We're meeting for the 12years anniversary ride with xBhp Burdwan. Hopefully, he can join us if he's around.

        To all our brothers from Kolkata, please do join us for the anniversary ride.
        We meet at Vidyasagar Setu and from there, we move towards Burdwan where we meet with FMSC who've been really awesome for organising the entire event.

        If you need to coordinate, you can drop me a message at 9830050042.

        The more the merrier.

          xBhp Ride to Parmadan (14th June, 2015)

          This one was one hell of a G2G, the pre-G2G prep went without any hindrance..
          We all agreed on participating with a highlighted condition that everything depends on whether it rains or not...:P
          Another thing to highlight is that none of us were aware of where we were heading or even what the route is,Still we planned on
          Our very own Human GPS Barun Da (@krishna77) wasn't riding with us but was there to see us off (dedicated as always).

          Moving on to the next day,around 5:30-6:00 am everybody was there at the gathering venue.
          The ambiance was welcoming.A bit sunny-A bit misty-A bit chilly, We knew this was going to be awesome

          Who knows the route ???
          Here everybody was having their speculations and statements, for a moment we were stuck.
          Then we came up with a collaborative decision of using GPS,In-charge of this duty was Mir

                  Occasion - xBhp's 12th anniversary celebration
                  Date - 28th June 2015, Sunday
                  Time - 2 pm.
                  Place - Shibalik Food Park, Nabahat, Burdwan
                  Organizer - FMSC.
                  Participants - Anyone who consider himself or herself a BIKER!

                  So, the stage was set. Pre-ride communication was done through various forums and social media. All we had to do was be there in time. So, a few of us gathered at the Dankuni Toll Plaza sharp at 12 pm. Six of us were there in five bikes. Many more could not come due to some prior commitments and rain. But, their wishes were with us. Achyut came in and saw us off. It was a 79 km ride from Dankuni to Ulhas more(pur primary destination). From Ulhas more, we were supposed to take a group ride to Shibalik Food Park.

                  As we were about to leave, raindrops started to fall. Rain-gears were soon out. And we moved on. We took a short break in CCD and from there, we just rode on. A plethora of greenery on both sides were a treat to us. Must mention - the weather was ideal for riding with cool breeze blessing us and the Sun deciding to take a week-off! By the time we left Hoogly district and entered Burdwan district, rain had stopped. A few phone calls later, we found ourselves among many like minded brothers who had come in from far away places. Shankar da came in a little later and the ride started. More to follow soon.

                    The ride started at around 3 pm. It was a 15 odd minutes ride to our destination. The ride was very well planned, managed and executed. Specially the traffic management deserves a special mention. A big thumb up to Burdwan xBhp and FMSC for this. Several groups came in from Durgapur, Asansol and places far away. Once we reached the venue, the bikes were arranged in a proper manner. The cake was placed right in the middle with four KTMs place in four corners. Photo sessions kept taking place in between. Little chit-chats, exchange of knowledge and ideas - all were there.

                    A small break.

                    After the cake-cutting ceremony, it was time to head back after some snacks and cold drinks(again courtesy FMSC). With clouds looming in the horizon, we knew we had to move fast. We reached Shaktigarh and stopped at a roadside sweet shop for a quick snack. This place is famous for a special type of sweet called Langcha. I bought some for home. It was already 5:40 and once we got back on respective saddles, there was no looking back. We maintained speeds between 75-95 kmph throughout and reached Dankuni Toll Plaza by 6:45. A cup of tea later, I bade goodbye and was home by 7:30. A Sunday well spent!
