Hi Sudip, your writing style is very good. You take good pictures as well. You should definitely start a new thread with all your explorations from North Bengal. This is one region which is virtually unexplored.
One suggestion - please avoid using red fonts. Doesn't look good in a public forum.

xBhp Kolkata's next G2G meet, which actually is our anniversary g2g ride and will be held on 20th Dec, 2015 i.e., coming Sunday.
The ride will be till Mayapur, West Bengal where we will be having a little event like the cake cutting ceremony, foods, snacks, etc.
It will be single day ride.
Other details will posted soon.

Small sprints on a discover 100

Hi everyone!!! I am new on xbhp & I just want to know that I am planning to go for a short sprint of 200 kms one side. We have 3 bikes namely avenger 220, rtr 180 abs and a discover 100 5g with 3 pillions. We are planning for Kolkata to digha(a sea beach 190 kms from Kolkata).And my query is that if the discover can manage it with a pillion(provided 15 mins break each 1 hr). The route is mainly 40 percent NH 6(4 lane) and the rest is oneway roads. And if it is possible then from what time we shall start if we intend to reach there by 11am(25.3.16) & we shall return by 27.3. 16. I have done this types of driving on my wagon r but no experience on a two wheeler so GURUS would you please help me!!!

There will be no problem for the discover to cover such distance. Digha will take nearly 5hrs if you ride with relax(say 15min rest every hour). Try to start early to avoid the heat and traffic. 6am will be perfect starting time. Best of luck.

Yes discover should make it with a passenger. Our first long trip, I went to Puri (600km one way) with a star city (100cc) and apache rtr. Both with luggage and passengers. Made it fine both ways.

Just make sure to keep the bike's condition in top notch before the ride. Do carry the necessary spares and must lube the chain before the ride. Hope to see some crispy captures of your trip after your return.
