My Apologize guys, I seriously had plans to Join in for the meet today but due to unexpected Office meeting I may not be able to Drop in... But still I've my Fingers crossed if the meeting get canceled I'm In..

i went to kolkatta yesterday for some shopping with my dear friend snig aka goldie. we took a single ride -p 220.but the shopping was quite heavy and we were unable to meetup with bappa /guiter and others.i am sorry for that.
the load was,a full sized fully loaded cpu,a 20 inch lcd monitor,a altec lansing vs 4121 2.1 sound system,a 1 tb external hdd,a fromtech gaming pod,a belkin multiplug.this was too much.we dont know how we reached to bdn with all of that in a p 220. here are some pics....

just look at the size of that backpack which is tied to the left side of the bike,it contained a full sized cpu and many others,hell it was heavy.btw those ditant things are a 20 inch monitor and a altecs 2.1 soundsystem.snig was holding them while sitoomg all the way from kol to bdn!!.i salute to his power.

taking a POWER BUTT BREAK on the side of nh2,later we sat on the gravels and our butts were blessed by natural acupressure effect.

I also often bring computers from chandni on my p150 to near by places with a pillion holding all odd things, some are tied to the sari guard some are kept on petrol tank and some are kept behind me and the pillion sits on the grab rail holding a few goods and balancing the goods kept on seat behind me
it is very painful journey

the picture is much mmuch much worse here in india right now.with the mix of bad roads add some wordclass 4 /6 lane highways,people dont knowing any proper knowledge of highway driving manuals,safety manuals and just add some super powerful vehicles with not at per safety levels.in here in india,driving/riding is like a war,no one really CAN say that the rider/driver will come back home or not.

enough said,ride safe,life is so short but live it long by being safe,god bless.

@all: Guys, this thread is NOT the place to put up text if you buy PC, or for starting brand wars. If you are here to do that, then you better not post such things on an offline G2G thread. I understand there are certain "other" things which require discussion, but pages after pages of OTs is just not worth it. Use the PM feature of xBhp for that.

Last several pages contain hordes of OTs and nothing else. I mean, please do not take this thread as a place where one can discuss literally anything and everything. And this goes for new and old members both! Please take care of this henceforth, or we are looking at the same fate like so many other threads on this forum - a lock-down.

P.S: A keen eye would be kept on this thread henceforth, and the OTs will be deleted. PLEASE avoid OTs.

If there were any OTs in this thread.........then all of it was meant for happier bonding between the members who meet and regularly attend the Offline Xbhp Meets.Most of us are Bengalis here and we often like to speak out for closer intimacy and concerns which leads to a very good lubrication and precise functioning of the total offline-G2G machinery.

OTs that has been meant:
1.A big G2G held in April had a sad but eye-opener incident of the accident of a member.We asked about his health and well being,the tragedy has compelled us to make and observe some rules at the G2Gs where we ride together.....it served the purpose of G2Gs.
2.Some members bought new rides and were happy and humane enough to share it with us,two of our meets were organised for welcoming the rides.If Xbhp is meant for Bikes,then its the bike which should be the central figure of all our events.Nevertheless we enjoyed a lot at these events,with free treats from a member whose bike was welcomed.
3.A member tried to raise our concerns regarding a very bad issue on a certain bike,which can be lethal at high speeds.........that was meant for the safety of members who attends the G2Gs.Discussions as human as possible rose out of this.....we tried to get a clear view of the riders and their bikes.....otherwise it would have had its altercations at a future G2G meet where everyone would have raced to prove their points.
4.Pictures of few rides done personally and small groups of Xbhpians,is meant for promoting biking.........out of love for biking,these arises interest in all our members.More of our active members more the focus is on Xbhp.These are our offline rides as well as meets.A motorcycle G2G is not complete without a ride together, to me atleast.
5.Xbhp Stuntmania event was a type of G2G for our existing members,where each and every member turned up to support it passionately and so,over a half of Kolkatan biking populace now knows Xbhp.
6.The latest video posted by me,is for concern of the Xbhpians of Kolkata and my fellow riders,who uses motorcycle on a daily basis......and its based on the moto of safe riding....serving its purpose of offline riding practices and promoting safety at G2Gs again.

Hereby,its not my intention to justify OT....means Off-topic discussions on a Biking forum without any real intent for the major concern of G2G....We do not discuss movies or food here,its very much related to biking.......
and if it is the question of purpose of this thread then-
May I ask in that case...what are the G2Gs meant for then if its not promoting Biking and riding safe with sound interaction between the members ?????....then I have to conclude that without these,its just a date and time and venue thread,like a Railway Scheduler !!!!
Without these discussion which has been related to our activities and concerns regarding the G2Gs and its participants.........our offline meets may turn into one of those where there would be loads of attitude,politics,this and that,whose bike is a superbike,whos bike a commuter,demarcations..........a nightmare for the responsible biker,which is not the true legacy of Xbhp.

Just before a Grand Event,where so many members of two states are ready to commit themselves and swear in name of biking...........this kind of blaming and banning and threatening game is now looking like bad and sick taste to me,far more heinous than the very big crime of OTs(what an irony ).

Most of the members including responsible members too are showing no signs of a mutual arrangement and understanding in a friendly way........its threats and this and that all the way.......

Atleast I had been through Xbhp all those years since 2004,matured from a Kid to a responsible rider here.My Biking knowledge got nurtured here.Discussed things at many times with many moderators here......its unfortunate that I am seeing this day over here...
But if its Love for biking,I have to be through rough times too,but I will never leave Xbhp alone,I would always be there as and when needed...maybe this be the very place where the news of my death while riding may come too. Its unconditional Love for biking here in my heart.

There isnt anything about who is great and who is nominal here to me.Xbhp is for everyone,starting from my young brother Haxor to the International resident Jonak,they represent Xbhp in their own ways .Bikers lets forget all differences and lets defer from being personal again. Where theres brotherhood......theres no EGO and its other name Blame Game.
Our numbered days of life on earth........lets make each and every moment beautiful with the marvels of biking........so lets cool down and lets not hold and hide any grudge.Thanks.

Okay, now please its my humble request to members, juniors, seniors, moderators, super moderators, and any other entity existing on xbhp. Please let the matter rest.

No more posts about that, and henceforth avoid going OT altogether.

Okay, (I'm here to save the day, as always... ) about yesterdays G2G.

The time mentioned was 04:30pm. I posted everybody come at 04:30pm, I'll come at 05:00pm, because nobody comes on time. I did reach SCM at 5, but I was the lone guy. I waited for 30 minutes, after which Dipanjan & NS1125 showed up. We waited for another 15 minutes when Mach50 showed up. and then slowly people started turning up in staggered intervals.

Once everyone got together, a discussion broke out, right there, on the ground floor. People were staring. A large mob of people, with helmets in their hand discussing stuff. Hmmm...

Finally after a lengthy chat session, we decided to go somewhere outdoor. Satyajit da knew a place, and we all left (a couple of people were trying powersliding on the wet tiles of the driveway ). Reached the place, ordered tea, and again discussion broke out (did I mention I did a burnout to accomodate my bike in the tight space between 2 bikes? ). People were trying each other's bikes, and a local 'bikers' group hanging out there got hyper seeing so many guys there. We got to see classic examples of 'rev the nuts off your bike' and also 'world's most difficult slalom course: through traffic' and also 'ride in the wrong lane' and also 'helmets? What the hell are helmets?' .

Finally after a typical adda session Bengal is so famous for, we started breaking up, and leaving... well almost, when someone realized the purpose of the G2G wasn't met!! We had gathered to collect money! People reluctantly pulled out wallets, Mach50- very enthusiastically (because he had brought 1000 bucks to blow, must have had a party at home, bugger ). Finally we broke up in groups and left for home.

Well, that's more or less it. Again, perhaps Dipanjan was made fun of. I didn't notice.

Come on guys... the grand event is 12 days from now. It was initiated by bappaditya for kol X-Men but so far only 9 confirmed from kolkata where as we have 15 from BBSR( will be 1 more as my friend is on leave, may be more if Swagat bhai can pull in more guys). We want a grand G2G a grand Success. Let the biking spirit take it over from here... eagerly waiting for you people to confirm. Come on show sprit, make it large.

Bappa aka Onwheels please return to the thread,it was you who encouraged the lone and enthusiastic BBSR member ShyamSharma to attend our G2Gs and then went to the initiative of organising the Grand G2G.I can understand that if after all these,when your mates were brought to notice of the Mods,you protested your way.Thats I call the real passion or Jasbaat.

Our Mods,watch all.......they dont need to be alerted,they are also very liberal,but they also has to answer some critics.Critics who would call them after done screwing .......But Mods have to answer them too!!!So long there would be something creative there would be criticism.

So please Bappa,take it in light mood,nothing has been forced on you man.We all know how to ride,when to speed,when to brake.Critics would do their jobs......we have to do ours.
Everyone appreciates your initiatives.I do feel that Xbhp Kolkata always missed someone like you.Committed to the core,you dont complain until things go through your heart and loved ones badly.

Here I am still intact .......so please come and help the final proceedings of the Grand G2G,Sunny Konkal is waiting for your signal
