Short visit to the bank of ichamati
Sorry guys it took some time to come u with the travelogue, was a litle busy with office work.
My first solo ride to taki a small town on the bank of river ichamati.
total distance covered was 153km
left home around 6am came back by 12noon.
route taken- up.. barasat - bashirhat - taki road
down.. taki - malancha - ghatakpur - em bypass.
Was planning for a long time for a solo ride but was not able to execute it.. specially after few accident in our friend circle i lost a lot of confidence. so it was time to renew my confidence i was never good in single lane riding so planned a route which will be challenging.
enquired a little about the route from few renowned bikers. but they suggested me not to go to taki as the bashirhat taki road was at its worst condition.. and it was i have never offroaded for such a long time. there were literally few inches of road among pothholes.. and state buses and trucks though that the f1 season has already started.
after negotiating the road condition and using the best gps system thats asking the local people reached taki. woooowww its a beautiful place guys its on Bangladesh border a small fishing town.the people are very nice so started interacting with the local. a local person even offered me lunch as he stated that he caught some fresh pabda and prawns. i dont like fish much so graciously denied.
took a different route while coming back as suggested by locals.
the roads were a litle better but narrower every time a bus or a truck came from the opposite side was forced to go off road .
After crossing Ghatakpur asked and found out the was towards em bypass.
reached home by 12noon. as no one knew in the house that i will be going for a long ride.
it was a great experience.

But in vacations sometimes we Karizma brothers plan to go somewhere, last time it was Mandarmani this time Darjeeling 
you get free petrol or wht?
