@srinikasyap - From your experience, will this start time from Chennai sufficient for the short trip to return on the same day?

Regarding venue - I would feel that Koyembedu junction would be ideal for people to join different part of the city. For those who are joining from the national highway (BangaloreNH7 i guess), shall joining the mid way.

Not sure if anybody resides along the beach area (Besant Nagar, Tiruvanmiyur etc). We need to go the other way would as well suggest as given below:

Join me at Nandanam signal near YMCA (Mount Road), I reseide close to the signal (if you are familiar with Mount Road). We can go from there to Koyambedu junction. I thought it is better to meet toward the direction we going to head.


@Others- It is better to narrow down to one meeting point. This would help clear communication and saves lot of time.

Guys, there is also falls in amirthi. Last time when i went, there is no flow of fresh water around.Total disappointment... But be prepared for very hot weather. You cannot expect a cool place for sure.
