Im not an expert / have exp in jackets so i will leave others to comment. but i felt jacket quality is very good. stylish and also very neat in finish.

I may buy jk17 before oct end ride

Let me tell you, there's nothing so special in the car other than that it makes loud noise. Having driven around one for sometime, I'd to give it back due to its gas guzzling nature.

Edit - Guys post all possible things today as xBhp is going offline tomorrow. Not sure how many days the outage lasts!!!

Wow. Pl share some pics. I would love to see it with you. But anyways for me, A Mustang always remains a Mustang.

By the way, about today's meet.

I reached Cozee by 6.Courtesy Aargee's update. It was empty. Waited for 15 mins. Still empty. Thought that everyone had left and SMS'ed Raghav. No reply. Confirmed that he was driving.

So took my steed and vroooomed off. Cruised at 102kmph in order to reach the caves quickly. But wen I reached there it was empty. Then got a call from Raghav and he said " Ippa than da bessy vandhean. Ellarum inga than irukkom".

Again, became a victim of offline decision. Well no offences to anybody. It was my mistake to not get everyone's phone number. Sriram was kind enough to add my phone number for future updates.
All in all, Had great fun today. Sri's RX stopped suddenly. When I asked bout it he said it was a silly thing. Fuel valve Sri?

@Aargee- I really looked to meet you today. May be next time.

                            Cheers.

Just saw a post about the future of XBhp here - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/coffee-l...t-history.html

From all the hush-hush, I'd say that the site is about to be taken over by some corporate house - probably Mahindra, whose new bikes will benefit greatly from exposure at India's most popular online biker site.....but that's just me speculating!

Anyways, lets wait and see.... as usual namma Chennai is last on the list.

                              • Fun all the way!

                                28/09/2010 - G2G Meet at Tiger Caves

I picked up Bhavishya from Mylapore around 6:10 and headed straight to Cozee since Ragav would join directly at Cozee.

There I saw Ananth and Sunny waiting for rest of the gang. There was some cycle event sponsored by Malar Hospital spreading message on exercise.

Then Bikerfas surprised me. In mean while Tarun called and wanted to know when we are starting from Cozee so that he would directly come over to Tiger caves.

Ragav joined us shortly and we had coffee/Tea at nearby shop. Then we started off to Tiger Caves. On the way I filled petrol for 100 bucks, though it was running in main.

Kiran, Tarun, Prabhakar(Sirius), Rajesh and Rocky46 welcomed us. We had had long session on trips, Leh etc. Bhavishya then pulled out the sample jackets of JK17, JK19, JK24 and JK27. Wow! Those jackets looked pretty good. In my opinion they had good finish and looked neat with the design.

He then explained about the jackets and its features in detail. We tried ourselves with those jackets to get an idea.

He had also brought motocross riding pants and 3-4 varieties of riding gloves. However, Scoyco jackets were better highlight of the day.

We started of around 9:45 to Hotel Mamalla to have breakfast. Had yummy tiffen before we started back.

                                Here starts the fun...

I was on my RX, going good along Ananth Bikerfas and Sirius. Then suddenly I felt the there was some problem like air block and it came to a halt.

Tarun and Kiran were behind so they saw me stranded on the highway. Kiran then asked me "is it a known issue or unknown issue?". I said it is unknown issue.

I checked for petrol and sparkplug and it looked all fine. However, it refused to start. I was like no again (thinking Horsley Hills retrun ride).

My thought ran wild to figure out what could be the issue. May be the side oil tank stopped supplying oil? May be got ceased? May be some block in the carburetor. Oh my god! what a mess!!

Tarun and Kiran were with me. I said that let me give few more minutes might help the engine cool down (thinking heating issues).

After few minutes, tried and the bike roared back to life, then started to get a feeling might be heating issue.

It ran couple of Kms and again it stopped. I thought to myself, What the hell?

I told Tarun and Kiran, might be heating issue, I shall wait for it to cool and start and you guys need not wait. Kiran and Tarun stayed with me waited for couple of minutes and started off.

Kiran and Bhavishya (pillion) took off after seeing me riding.

Tarun was all the way sweeping and I was riding very controlled.

Then again bike stopped. This time it did not even start even after cool down!

Tarun got a call from Ananth asking about us. We told them that my bike stopped. Soon I inquired about the petrol bunk so that I can buy 2t oil since I'm almost convinced that 2t oil might be the culprit (rapid thought process).

They said it is atleast 4 kms. Tarun toed the bike till the gang who were waiting few kms from the toll.

I reached and took a break from the sun( what a sunny day). Then Kiran toed till the bunk, I immediately bought 2t oil pouch and poured into the tank. The bike came back to life, I was like ah! what a relief, so the gang took off. After few kms the ghost haunted back. It stopped when were almost the outskirts of the city. Kiran and Bhavishya stopped and we decided to approach the mechanic. Hardly few meters away luckily there was one mech working on TVS Star, I explained what exactly happened and told him that I have petrol.

He took his time, and with raised eye brow inspected the bike. He tried kick starting the bike, it refused to show any signs.

He pulledout the petrol tube and turned to Main. There was no sign of petrol supply. Then he said 'vehicle is on reserve'.

After he asked me to kick while the tap is on reserve, it came back to life.

I did not even think twice to go back to thank him, may be he would throw the rings spanner on me. More than I was happy seeing the issue resolved I felt like a dumb in front of him.

I realized Kiran is very cool headed guy, he just smiled at me and said there is bunk next for me to fill petrol.

I don't know what Tarun might have reacted after discovering this silly issue of my bike. I think in a way was lucky that he parted at a kelambakkam junction.

(I was somehow did not realize that Rs100 petrol for tiger caves ride is too little for my RX.)

After filling petrol, my bike behaved smoothly and reached home.

Thanks to Sunny, Ananth, Sirius and Bikerfas.

Special Thanks to Kiran and Tarun.

I'm sure apart from me, many would remember this Tiger Caves trip!
