October 3rd 2010 G2G Meet
I need some inputs with regards to destination for coming Sunday meet.
At this point, could not think of any, nor we have too many places to choose from.
Shall we all meet up at Cozzee Point, Besant Nagar and decide?
Please let me know your thoughts!RX100 1996 | Karizma 2004 | Karizma-R 2011 | RXZ 1999 | RX 135 1998 | RX 100 1993 | CBF150 2005 - 2011

It would definitely help & get one after you get hands on your steed or a new one.Originally posted by yellowspunk View Posti have seen them on some bikes too. any deterrent is good enough.
Then what's the purpose of these CCTVs. Bloody Baskars.Originally posted by yellowspunk View Posti asked the police about the cameras they said they dont know how to operate it. and that was that.

Place worth Visiting
Bikers planning to go for a long drive can think of drive to MUDALIAR KUPPAM TTDC water sports area.IT is 90 Kms from Chennai on the ECR enroute to Pondicherry. The roads are good and it is the only place in Tamilnadu having Water scooters. The charge for it is 460/-for 2 people for 5 minutes. You have Kayaks, row boats,Pedal boats and 3 seater speed boats.
Give it a try it is worth it if you like water sports and pollution free atmosphere, and ofcourse the plesant long drive..Only Snacks are available. It takes about 105 minutes from Chennai. For proper food and snacks come to Mahabs Adyar Anandha Bhavan, situated close to the Mahabs bypass turn off in mahabs.(from Chennai side)

Lowside @ Thiruvanmiyur
Experienced my first lowside today on the Ninja. Was taking a turn in third gear at a junction in Thiruvanmiyur when a cager driven by a moron suddenly cut across me.
Gravelly road + banking turn + emergency tap on the front brake = me kissing the pavement.
So down I went - HARD. Hit the road, skidded to a stop and lay flat for a second with the wind knocked out of me before bystanders came rushing to my aid. Made hard contact on the road with my right side toes, knees, hands, elbows and shoulders - in that order.
Luckily for me I was wearing ALL my gear. My boots and kneepads took the worst impact ( jeans completely ripped at the knee ) followed by my palms ( ripped my glove too), followed by a roll on the right elbow and shoulder.
Happy to report that my gear did everything that it was supposed to and the only injury suffered was a bruise to my right pelvic bone. Definitely my next purchase is a pair of padded riding pants.
My Ninja however took a worse beating with the fairing damaged on the right side with the right front indicator ripped off. The handlebars too seem to be a bit off - hope not a bent fork.
Ironically, my frame sliders which might have protected the fairings are in transit and will arrive coming week.
Double irony - my brand new riding gloves held together despite the fall - I had just replaced my old pair thinking that they would not last an impact.
Will post pics soon of the damaged gear soon but in the meanwhile am feeling pleased that my insistence on wearing all the gear all the time paid off.
