Guys ,

I noticed an article in the papers about an old dutch settlement in a place called 'Sadras' somewhere after Mahabs. Does anyone know how to get there? Is it worth a visit?

@sunny - i made a trip 2 saturdays back towards that side.. i found a sadras fort ..there wasn't much to see.. but the fort alamparai pretty ok .. it was photographer's paradise saw so many backwaters and stuff

saw a suzuki hayabusa (black in colour) nd augusta , pretty old model ..sports full fairing ..but looked classic ..then a lot of yedzi's !!!! a group of them !! and while returning home saw a yamaha r1 (white and red )

hope to see more xbhpian's in the coming week !!!

Four of us - Rajiv, Anant, Ravi and myself rode to Sadras Fort this morning, hoping to meet up with Praveen and Apar.

The fort was closed ( opens at 9am apparently) and didn't meet Apar & Praveen either.

We did have some high points though - came across a bright yellow Lambo Gallardo and an Aston Martin (Vantage - I think) in full throttle.

Also got passed by a bunch of SBK's - R1's, Busa's, Fireblades, Fazer 1, CBR 1000's and a Hornet. The drone and whine of in-line fours made for an audio-visual treat!

Thankfully the ride to the fort was also a scenic stretch.

Since we didn't want to wait till the Fort was opened, we took off to the boathouse and promptly made some new friends with a Ninja ZX12R and Honda Blackbird!

All in all an "eye-full" Sunday morning!

@ Sri - Is the pre-ride to Yelagiri still on for next week? If so, list of riders, stay, itinerary ?

Today I had been to MMSC track, had witnessed R15's at 140kmph and also happened to see 2 SBK's crash. Thank God, nothing happened to the riders, post the crash the riders were rushing to pick their fairings, a Yamaha and a Honda was damaged (not sure about the damage in the engine) atleast the outer part was completely damaged.

Next sunday again the event continues, why dont we plan for a meet up there at the tracks next week

Next weekend there's a plan to ride for Yelagiri, the purpose is part of preride before we make the interstate meet in March second weekend. This will also educate the newbies or guys who're not aware of group riding.

Gang: I was occupied the entire week so did not have chance to do some calls for Yelagiri. Anyways, hope to see you all when we join in for the weekend ride.

Riders: Please voice if you would like to overnight stay at Yelagiri or return the evening.
