Well there are more rocks on the road than asphalt so that's the secret

Dude, have u EVER been to Bangalore? If not do that. Especially try riding around in peak hour rush at Bangy and u will just worship Chennai roads and traffic. IMHO Chennai road infrastructure is MUCH MUCH better than Bangalore.Originally posted by EL LOCO DIABLO View Post

Yeah, I love it. Especially if u have a wring-happy right wrist and a bike like the RTR that exactly compliments it, its out of words for description.Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostBtw, riding on Chennai roads still ROCKS man!

P.S: I think ur referring to the OMR, ECR roads....

I think Naz you have your answer, but would like to add that apart from the traffic here we have surprising roads, you can never tell when a speed breaker will pop out of no where or from where the roads will suddenly vanish into nothingness......Originally posted by Aparajith View PostDude, have u EVER been to Bangalore? Not to mention the surprising maze of one-way traffic rules. For all the while I have been at Bangalore, I have never been able to understand and remember the route to any place. Reason being, u go one way and come back the other!Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostI think Naz you have your answer, but would like to add that apart from the traffic here we have surprising roads, you can never tell when a speed breaker will pop out of no where or from where the roads will suddenly vanish into nothingness......

Don't forget the alloy-bending craters in the middle of the road. On my way back from Chennai, Sksy and me passed Hosur in a blur. I was riding half asleep and then THUD! The road has suddenly disappeared and im riding on gravel now. Welcome to Karnataka!Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostI think Naz you have your answer, but would like to add that apart from the traffic here we have surprising roads, you can never tell when a speed breaker will pop out of no where or from where the roads will suddenly vanish into nothingness......

Wow! You people are so intent on cursing Bangalore roads..! I used to think Chennai roads suck! Guess the Butterfly-shaped flyover at Kathepara Junction is now like the coolest thing to show off with for us Chennai-ites eh??
Cheers!

I still think chennai has a long way to go before we are happy about our roads. Every damn road is dug up. I am a big fan of the Hyderabad Roads. Its just too good!
PS: I must mention that the maniacs who rule hyd roads on their pimped scooters and passions will kill you much before you enjoy the roads. And if you survive that then you gotta face the all the Car drivers who just cant accept a bike overtaking them.R.I.P kriss.
