try Pichawaram lake near Chidambaram .....Never been there but heard its a nice place.....Badri suggested me this place.....

Its 210 Kms.. Chennai - Mahabs - Pondy - Chidambaram - Pichavaram.

Chidambaram to Pichavaram is 16 kms, The Roads are damaged way too heavily in the recent rains..

my bad...it is around 250kms but the roads from pondi would be a disaster.

Tada is ruined now with all the mass pouring in.
Tirupathi, i have been there many times, but is a good option still.
pichavaram is great but have to stay atleast for a day to ride around the mangrove forest (in a boat). i remember planning a ride with Steve, but last min had to drop out. did u make that trip steve?

My friends are visiting chennai and planning for a ride with me on bikes....but they don't have bikes....so any idea where we can get bikes for rent....started a thread in the help me section, no replies so though of posting it here

Nopes! No idea if you would find those in Chennai.. But worth visiting Pudupet / GP Road.. @ Max, you would find a hard beaten Kinetic Honda..

Nope .This is a crazy month for me and just started settling down in my new place so maybe next month.
