Chennai DIY Session 2nd October 2011.

Location: - Akkarai, ECR
Meeting point: Akkarai Checkpoint 8 AMand then I shall guide you to the location which is very near from there.

What need we will be doing?
Taking few simple topic and actually trying out by ourselves.

What need to be taken for the DIY session?

1. Tools - whatever you have it.
2. Waste cloth
3. Grease
4. Detergent cake
5. Drinking water.
6. Old newspaper

I was on a ride to Mahabalipuram on Sunday and on he way back I saw a guy in Yamaha Vmax with Kerla plates. He crashed onto a guy and the local mob caught hold of his bike. Any idea who he is? He was so helpless and I couldn't help

Hello,

I would like to go for a trip from Chennai to Bangalore and back. Main purpose is to attend the Metallica rock performance.. I am planning to go on Friday 28th October morning and to come back on Monday morning..
Any one interested?

Atleast can you guys help me out with trip preperations? Would it be a fun journey? I have a thunderbird and would be riding with out a pillion.
The road is pretty much a straight highway and that is a major deterrent for me...

Service your ride; ride it in the city for over 100-200 Kms; take your personal stuffs in backpack/saddle bag or tail bag; wear your safety gears & hit the highway.

Depends; for most first timers it might be fun; for seasoned tourers it could be boring.

The road is pretty much a straight highway and that is a major deterrent for me...

Its one of the most safest + excellent highway & there's nothing to deterrent or detergent!!!

You should take NH4-NH47-NH7 all way upto Bangalore city!!!

Chennai-Vellore-Vaniyambadi-Krishnagiri (right turn)-Hosur-Electronic City(take the elevated highway with Toll) & get into Koramangala.

I have made up my mind.. I will be making the trip in my bike... No use in sitting back and think what if I could have done it.. Thank you for the tips.. Will give my bike for servicing in a couple of weeks..
