Hey guys, Sorry for not updating anything. Stuck at office for past 4 weekends has taken a toll!

My brother Athul will not be making it. Only I, Aparajith .S will be coming. Please remove his name from the list. And 4 days will be a problem for me. So I will be riding for 3 days only - 11, 12 ,13. Will meet up with the rest of the group somewhere. I will try attending the coming meet on 3rd weekend.

Sunny/Sriram, can you guys please update the details accordingly?

Guys, The choice of ride dates is entirely personal, depending on personal comfort, personal endurance, and above all personal safety.

If this was a short ride like last year to Yercaud, we could all ride together on the same dates - since it is going to be long and challenging and some are not up to it, the choice was made open to individuals.

EVERYONE is free to choose on their own. For reasons of safety and organization, we have attempted to group the riders together but NOBODY is forcing ANYONE.

@ Anand/Apar + whoever else wants to do it in 3 days - Guys please do so if you think that you are up to the challenge of the ride - just be sure that you are not pushing yourself beyond your personal safety limits.

Nice pics Nishant. Virus bring out the rest. We had a good time & while myself & Virus was returning back we had to stop at Adyar to check some strange noise was popping out from the rear of Virus's FZ. A police man hindered us "ENNA RACE PORINGALA?? Go to home!" . Then we evacuated the place & reached home.

Had a great time with all of you .... It was tough catching up with Ram's ninja in the morning before reaching bessi
but it was exciting ... Breakfast at our usual stop at mamalla ..All had "DOSA" or "DOSAI " ....with some vada dipped up in sambar
While having a chat at mamalla parking lot ..This guy says he topped speeds of 130 or 140 on his old yamaha ... LOL ... With no place to move ..sunny was cornered .. ha ha.. Fun to listen to everyone's experiences on touring , bikes and what not !!! So Beeen a great sunday with Xbhp ...

Munnar ride - Costing

It's time to share costing for this Munnar ride. Kindly see the break down. I have copied the the post (Praful's) from the Munnar ride thread over here.


Place of Stay : SN Sujatha Inn - Link! [Hotel has a compounded wall which is safe to park all the bikes]
Cost Per Room : 1000/- Per Night
Cost Per Person : 333/- Per Night <3 People Per Room>

Number of Nights = 2
So *Total* Stay Cost = 2 x 333 = 666/-

Food Cost - 440/- [ Inclusive of 2xBreakfast + 1xLunch + 2xDinner ]

T-Shirt Cost - 200/-

Campfire+Music Cost - 2000/- for 2 hours [ Final Cost will be 2000/Number of Riders ] = Approx 30/- Per Head Extra

So *TOTAL* Cost so far = 1306/- Per Person for Stay+Food+Tee for the whole trip!

I am keeping the Campfire+Music Cost separate from this for now. So keeping 100 bux extra as buffer. The Total cost will be approximately 1400/- per person.

I do not have much details on Trichy accommodation at this point. Also, I thought you would be part of hyper fast group.

IIRC, the hyper fast group too would be staying on 10th march at trichy or dindigul . I guess the itinerary is to ride together of GROUP 1 & GROUP 2 on March 11th from Trichy/dindigul to munnar.

And for the coming weekend preride to Villupuram, I think its too way much as it would be a round trip of more than 300 kms.

What are the things needed to be carried along with regarding Ninja? Already done trips on my A150 & know what to carry, stuffs like extra tube, clutch cable etcetera... Since this would be my first ride on kwacker I would like to know about it.
