SUNDAY RIDE

@ SRI - Is the ride destination fixed? I mean where are we supposed to be riding to? I may not be able to join in for a very long ride like Villupuram since I have a prior family thing happening for lunch.

@ ALL MUNNAR RIDERS -

Guys, lets pitch in and be the best organised group by making sure collections for the ride are closed out by Sunday. Please hand over cash by Sunday or better still transfer the money via net-banking to Sri's account. ( get his details via PM )

The rooms have to be booked and advances paid, so the cut-off date for payment has been fixed as Sunday. We will have to assume that if your payments have not reached by Sunday that you will be making your own arrangements for room and board in Munnar.

Please also ensure that your rides are serviced and ready for a 1400km journey.

Please also ensure that all your documents are in order. If you are not carrying originals, it might be a good idea to carry attested copies, since the Kerala cops are reportedly being cranky! It's also a good idea to carry a spare key for your bike in your luggage or maybe exchange the spare keys with a buddy. Losing a key when your bike is locked up-country is an adventure we can do without!

My spare gear is all out with other riders but we are still in need of a size 44 jacket and a pair of knee guards. Can I appeal to the Chennai Xbhpians who are not riding to come forward to share?

@Sriram : I will not be able to join the weekend G2G if its long ride as I got office from 1 pm onwards . If its just meeting at one point and discussing things then I will be able to make it. Please do confirm the final plan and in case if its still confirmed as Villupuram, please PM me your account details .

Seems like most of them are held up with time factor this Sunday, can we all ride somewhere nearer so that most of the riders of Munnar are present. am thinking of some place

To answer your question, first I would need riders to confirm their availability on Sunday.

Apart from few who expressed their thoughts, others have been in hibernation.

Since no one even suggested any alternative, what this old guy can come up with?

Vedanthangal? Not so far - about half the distance to Villupuram and we could meet at Crescent Engg @ 0630, and be back by about 1030 - 1100? Just a thought.

@ Bikerfas - Buddy, please contact Sri and get the needful done. He's the one with the adequate computing skills to update the sheet! My blurring eye-sight has problems seeing the keyboard, leave alone knowing how to do it.

How about A/C cabin ? Sorry to bring this out again but my Rides brake is still not okay , I thought of getting it done today but got struck with some other work. Will be taking it either Saturday or Monday Morning

I might be able to make it to Bessy though. I suggest we do the usual - meetup at bessy and finish the munnar ride discussions. Those who want to ride, can do so after the discussions are over. What say?

Note:
I have received the t-shirts for the Munnar ride today and planning to distribute it. (It's going to be a challenge on the transportation though).
So I request participants to come for the meet and collect their respective t-shirts.

FYI:- Those who are not coming for the weekend meet, they have option of collecting it from my house before the Munnar ride OR always collect it during regular meet.
