ji i am always ready for ride!! still i am having a project related work in that week!!so thinking of way to escape from it!! depends on how how hard i work in the between 2 weeks !!

Cool. Now you're talking. If we stay over for 2 nights we can do some sightseeing and visit nearby places as mentioned. How far is nagarhole from gonikoppal? I doubt if we can wayanad too. Open for discussion though.

One small piece of info Adi: Nagarhole is around 45kms from Gonikoppa.The roads are very average(at certain places its below average).You can cover iruppu falls near Kutta and reach Hunasur via Nagarhole.The roads from Kutta -Kattikulam(Wayanad district) was in a very bad shape the last time I had been there(Dont know about its status now though).I would defnitely not recommend this route for a ninja.Leave Iruppu by late afternoon and pass through Nagarhole,it will be very pleasant.A defnite NO-NO route for soundy exhausts,reason being the roads inside Nagarhole are very narrow ,not like the ones in Bandipur or Madhumalai where you would have a small clearing between the road and the trees.If any animal intends to disturb you it will be straight into your way. At many patches,you have ride through tall grass which lessen the visibility of any wild animals that are willing to cross the road,so have to be extremely cautious.

Doing 200kms solo till where Karthick??????is it only till Mysore or coorg???Mysore itself is around 260kms from Cbe,so from tiruppur it should be even more

The roads from Kutta -Kattikulam(Wayanad district) was in a very bad shape the last time I had been there..I would defnitely not recommend this route for a ninja.

The roads after Kushal Nagar is a bummer for the Ninja or any other bike. The roads from Gonikoppal to Tholpetty (Via Nagarhole) is average and Tholpetty to wayanad is good.

*Just a pointer - Nagarhole National park does not allow Two Wheelers, So would have to hire a Jeep*

The Southern Sojourn we did last year (January 2010) may give you few more inputs

A request - Can someone take the initiative and track the number of confirmed riders from Chennai? I need to have the exact number of people for this G2G so I can make the bookings at the homestay.

P.S: My Bike is finally ready, Replaced Spark Plug, SEAL O-RING INJECT / DRAIN COCK PACKAGING under warranty. Fuel Pump seems to be alright.

Rajiv is also 90% in. He's waiting for his results and may need to go to Delhi for a few days - but I think he should be in. Will get him to confirm shortly.

@ Adi - what are the dates exactly? I'm trying to see if I can coax someone to ride with me first to Coonoor and then join up for Coorg!
