Any G2Gs planned for the long weekend(2nd,3rd,4th April,2011)?

I would be riding down to chennai on 2nd morning and will be there till monday.

Hope everyone is doing good. I couldnt come last week to share the pics. BTW, this weekend we are planning to do some offroading at Kelambakkam quarry. Pls go through this teambhp thread - Report - Offroad Training Day at Kelambakkam Quarry - Team-BHP
That thread is three years old. Not sure of the state now and not sure whether we can make it all the way like the 4WDs there. The path looks damn tough for a two wheeler. Anyway, what the heck - we can try! So far the confirmed list

We will be starting at 5AM to avoid the heat as much as possible. If anyone wants to join, please go through the thread first and then decide and add your name here

Once you enter kelambakkam - vandalur road from kelambakkam come to an area called mamabakkam (junction of yellow line in the main road in google maps) then take first left after this junction.

Guess it will be best route to reach the quarry. Hopefully i will be coming and meet you guys in mambakkam junction at 6. will send out message to you guys.

The picture you displayed has some tint on to the top. Was the on purpose?

It was one hell of a ride today and the G2G was one of the best. My bike had some front end and disc brake problems.. still it performed well which was in the roads - i mean offroads But due to some personal i returned after breakfast... hope you guys explored more...

what i would say is we can have another session of offroad as we might have some fun before the quary is opened... also what about the other off raod place guyz... where you all able to find it ???

Dinesh - there are two many places to explore and we did explore a lot but due to the relentless heat we had to split. we will do it again. i am doing it in the monsoon for sure
