Very good George. Keep posted of such meets. I was so dumb and always believed in 'anybike anyone group' called Chennai Offline meet.

Kart Attack meet.

The meet took place at Kart Attack, ECR. Before that everybody had to meet at the toll on ECR link Road in case anyone did not know the exact location of the track. I was the first to reach the toll with my friend Akash to give me company. It was a dull start as only Rohit showed up by 4 45.

We reached the track and were surprisingly joined by Mr. Ace (Karthik). Raj and Rakesh (R15 twins) showed up later, followed by our brand new newbies Angad and Devesh. The venomous doctor, (Dr. Venom), Bharath was the last to join.

The adventures of bikers on a kart started off from then on. We had several sessions and more than several incidents with the tyre walls. Loads of fun with (unfortunate) bets floating around on the riders (Drivers). People calling dibs for Kart 8 and 6. Kart 1 and 2 were named the bullock Karts!

It was a great experience to have a fun weekend with the fellow xbhpians. Raj's time was the best for the day with a dishonest 21.1 sec lap (He took undue advantage of his physique to reach Kart 6 first on the grid).

Met Devesh and Angad for the first time and hoping to see them again soon during the rides.

Missed all seniors though.

Avinash: you should have come dude, it was a great time spent.

Having the last session under lights, we called it a day at 7. It was a great evening spent with lively guys! A break from the usual rides but a good one at that.

Help me

Guys can anybody tell me a better place i mean a best shop for buying riding gears like helmets, jackets, knuckle guards are the major priority right now for me.....budget is 20k can i get good brands with in this budget???please help me with some names of shops???

Makky: As per Sunny's comment on his wall (Query on the route to be taken), the GIR team is taking the KK-Madurai-Chennai route. In that case, you would reach Chennai on the 4th of April. However, the meet is scheduled only on Sunday. So, what the team intending to do other than servicing the bikes?
Ride on the ECR to Pondy/Mahabs?

Sunny: We have a press interaction on 5th and 6th. The ride is on Sunday. On Saturday we are most probably riding with the Mad Bulls.

The so called 'fearless leader' is sick and recovering in slow pace. I would really appreciate if someone could co-ordinate for the Chennai group for the weekend plan for GIR.

Spoke to them just now; the GIR team should be in Chennai by tomorrow late afternoon; I'll be receiving them at Chengalpet toll & riding with them towards the city. Anyone interested, feel free to join.

I'll keep posted here as & when I hear any updates from them.
