I'm allowed to DRIVE but not RIDE.. Reason being that I'm going abroad for university.. Ride safe guys! Btw, don't think cops are a problem on ECR these days.

Uthandi Toll will be a good place for meeting point. As all will be individually riding to the meeting point or max couple of members and from there after some 10-15kms we will be taking the right from Kovalam to OMR, so the cops shouldn't be a problem.

@Prithvi - If you are interested in meeting can join by driving too - if its ok for you !

@Sunny:- Do we still see cops pulling 'racing costume' riders off the ECR? Reason is, by the time we move from the meeting point, cops will welcome us in style.

Ganesh:- Uthandi toll is best for meeting point, I thought on ECR.

Not for the last few weeks. I think if we're at the Uthandi toll by 6 - 6.30am we shouldn't have a problem.

Probably we can meet up in the morning - as we used to Ride earlier to Tiger Caves and have Breakfast and come back - If wanted to Ride some more , then we can Ride to Mudaliyarkuppam and come back.
Wanted to make up for not being in the Evening meet

It passed through ECR, OMR, some village roads & then connects to 4 lane highway finally; total distance should be approximately 100 Km excluding the highway from Tambaram.

I likey , the route passes through the college where I did my engineering . Long time since I passed by my college I am in for this!

Moi posting on this thread after a gzilion years I guess . I have had my share of long rides and I have been dormat or in hibernation for about a year now. I guess it is time for me to start off again and megamalai seems to be a good opportunity.

I was going through the last 4 -5 pages and made me feel little sad about the way we have been expressing out thoughts. I just want to state this, when you pen down something read it a couple of times before posting cause nobody wants to post something and hurt others. I felt some of the posts could have been rephrased better. remember - "the PEN is mightier than the sword"

Meeting Point - Near Uthandi Toll (Before Mayajaal)

Start Time: 6 am IST

Route - Uthandi - Covalam - Kelambakkam - Thiruporur - Thirukazhangkundram - Chengalpet - Vandaloor - Tambaram

Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India to NH 32 - Google Maps

It passes through ECR, OMR, some village roads & then connects to 4 lane highway finally; total distance should be approximately 100 Km excluding the highway from Tambaram.

Anyway, I dont have a ride, Ninja is grounded close to a month now & the new battery is on its way from Mumbai. I dont think it would reach me before Monday.
