The Weather Channel predicts light rain tonight with possibility of light rain again early in the morning. Rest of the morning is just cloudy. Sounds promising!

EDIT : Well after hoping that the rain was only in the city, it started raining on the ECR just now....

Rains...I'm pretty irritated as why it has to downpour now

It was only last week someone threw a barrel of water whoever was passing trough Khopoli-Lonavala. My gloves just got dried & I'm really in no mood to get it wet again!!!

If it drizzles in the morning...I might not turn up. Sorry

It is raining in the city from 7.30 Pm onwards...Hopefully stops by morning..

Thirukkazhukundram is 70 Kms from T'Nagar whichever way you travell ECR or NH 45...so round trip will be approximately 140 kms and look out for slightly bad roads from Thirukkazhukundram to Chengalpet...13 Kms
From Chengalpet city, Take Left near bus stand to reach by pass and NH45 since the main Chengalpet to NH 45 through Level Crossing has an Over Bridge under construction and there is no way...

Don't use Rain as an excuse not to ride. It's really refreshing to ride in the rain, if you feel bad about wet gloves - try using the surgical gloves under or over your gloves (or get a waterproof glove for rain rides) - think about it!

Seems like it will be a big turn up tomorrow - enjoy the ride :-)

Ananth...I really don't like to ride in rain, not that I cannot. I once rode all way from Jaipur to Mumbai in heavy rains exception, 1 hour after Udaipur up to Ankaleshwar. All the remaining time, I was SOAKED in water tub. Just to state the intensity of rain - All the truck moved to extreme right towards median, all cars in the middle lane or were following the truck, with visibility not more than 10 foot (esp between Ankaleshwar to Surat) & Valsad to next 1 hour or so. The Valsad drama was at pitch dark.

Like I told you before, riding is just one part, I hate to clean as much as I hate to ride an unclean bike/car

Started raining again on ECR, roads flooded frm kottivakam to neelankarai. Its fun driving in rain though, splash water everywhere!

Its pouring here in Arumbakkam/Koyembedu side. Forecasts say that by 5-6 am the thundershowers should subside . Lets hope for the best

Amazing Ride..

Really loved my first group ride..

following hand signals.. photoshoots.. view of 10-12 bikes in a row.. that amazed look on the face of people watching.. and again n again people asking - "Are you going for a race lol" ..
truly an amazing experience..

And also a lot of thanks to the weather.. perfect weather for a ride..
