Hello everyone..! I am new to xbhp and i'm still finding my way around this site..

I have a two-part question.

1) I want to buy some good riding gears in chennai.. I am not sure if this is already discussed.. but, Kindly suggest me some good stores for buying such biker stuff... My office is in Anna Salai,Teynampet and I find lots of Helmet shops in the Thousand Lights area.. Are they any good for buying quality helmets and other riding gears??

2) Is there any way to minimise/mitigate the soreness of the butt during long rides?? I have a Yamaha Fazer and I haven't put any seat covers/cushions.. Kindly advise in this regard..

^^To your point:-

1. Contact Spartanprogear (google it), they have some cool stuff. Also you can visit their shop at Akkarai (near checkpost on ECR).
2. Take a break when you actually start feeling sore. Also, you can apply nivea cream on your butt cheeks to minimize impact, might sound wierd but works.

There is a Karizma-R 2008, Black done 22500 on odo for sale. The bike is TN-07-AR registered. The bike is in good condition however, there are few minor scratches on the tank. Reason for selling is that he's going abroad on a long term duration. Please let your friends also know this. Thanks.

I'm getting extremely annoyed without getting to ride. Walking to office only makes it worse.

How about a ride this Saturday or Sunday morning? I have asked a friend to lend his bike for a day. So in any case i would be riding this weekend.

How about Tirupathi? or Pulicat (Sriharikota) ? Suggestions welcome.

My name is Jay and I've just returned to India after a 3 year long journey from the US, overland thru Latin America, Europe and Africa. My bike, a Suzuki DR650, is coming via sea from South Africa and will get here in a few weeks. After clearing customs and other paperwork, I'll be heading out for a tour around India and ending up in Delhi.

I'd like to meet you guys and see what the biking scene here is all about I'm out this weekend (family roadtrip to Thirupati, pooja for the returning son ) but when's the next G2G happening? How about something next week, like Friday (15th)?

I'm in Porur and going to suck to be without two wheels until sanDRina (my DR650) arrives You guys know about some spare two wheels I could use till my bike arrives?
