But if you compare it with other areas like padapai,polichalur or even thiruvalur SHOLINGANALUR has some essentials ticked(atleast for me) .

i had only passed through sholinganalur but from the past 4 years i could see the development which is beyond my imagination,everytime i pass the OMR i could see the difference like number of pretty cars,girls are multiplying.And i am unaware of the civic conditions over there .

And last but not least i am a NEWBIE here and hoping to meet all the Anna's soon.i am 19 and i am in my second year of engineering.

currently using an pulsar 220 dts-fi .One more question i have only helmet no riding jackets or knee pads.will get it soon am i allowed just with my lid for G2G?

First thing first - as sunny pointed out, Sholls is a shit hole. Please don't make an opinion by what you see in that 35 to 40 feet broad road on OMR. Situation off the road is very bad. People are struggling with running water, sanitation and what not. Most of the domestic areas will be under 2 to 3 feet of water during rain. All the beauty is just skin deep all the way on OMR.

Second thing - you are most welcome to join the meets which take place in or around Chennai. BUT, in case you want to join any short rides, I would suggest you to have minimum requirement fulfilled for your own safety. Helmet, Riding Gloves, Shoes and a Good riding jacket (a decent denim jacket will do the job till you get one riding jacket) will keep you safe on the road. Invest some money for riding gears and it will help you and will be useful in long run.

It's been long since we all gathered and done short ride. Now, we could make some action plans for upcoming months like Nishant initiated for Horsely Hills. We only have Feb to enjoy the early morning ride/meet etc and after we all know how deep our skin burns. To start with, can we all meet on Jan 26th for dinner?

Tentative plan:

Date: 26th Jan
Time: 7 PM
Place: Tiruvanmiyur Beach (Opp. Bella Ciao)
Dinner: TBD
Agenda: Upcoming rides and discussion on future long trips.
