Need help!

I'm helping another xbhpian to restore his legend. I was able to procure the spare part - RX100 frame/Chassis. The best part of all is that he stays near Athirampalli (famed for falls) of Chalakudi, Kerala.

Well, to make it more easier decided that the procured part will be shipped to Cochin/Eranakulam xbhpian's address. The part is lying with me for nearly a month. I approached couple of transport guys and they are not willing to take as they expect Invoice copies and TIN# from both seller and buyer. Kerala checkpost is offlate being very strict and they drop the item on the border if they don't see the right documents and as of yesterday around 150 lorries are waiting for clearance.

Couple of pointers received that near Wall Tax road agencies will do the job. I've not done business with them and not sure whom to approach.
I've the sales receipt from the showroom with name on it.

Anyone who can give some leads for transportation would be great.

KPN Parcel Services - No Kerala.
TVS - Not reachable
DTDC - Not reachable

The easiest way is to get your friend to approach a business of one of his friends with TIN in Kerala and ship it to that address. That way, you have outward TIN and inward TIN on the shipping document. He will have to pay some VAT on the product but otherwise the only way is to "smuggle" on-board some bus service.

KPN does do Kerala by the way.

Approached KPN (Parcel service) they directed me to Kerala transport Corp as they do not book such items. I'm also going to contact ARC Parcel Services next week.

You guys missed it !! If you are searching for acres and acres of farm land.. scenic roads and total solitude.. this roadtrip would be perfect ! and the weather was really good yesterday. Saw Sunny on the way too.

There was no forest though lol only a lake which is apparently protected since many bird species come there. Even though it had dried up quite a bit it was still huge.

@ Everyone - guys, please lets put up ride plans a few days in advance - it gives the rest of us time to figure out if we can join in or not. I keep missing rides with you guys because I commit with other groups thinking that there's nothing happening on the weekends.

I was there in the ride too (though 40% was riding alone as was little slow :P). Was sleeping after the ride on sunday and today was a busy day at office.

@yellowspunk : atleast post 1 pic including me or ma bike..:P. afterall u were the official photographer of the trip.

My share of pics will be coming by evening after i reach home. All in all it was good ride. Lots of trees, good weather, nice breakfast of idlis, nice deserted lake, a miniscule trekking on a small rock.

Missed it as in it was a good ride.. like saying you missed going to Leh since its the views are awesome. I havent seen pallikaranai marsh so no idea but then it was secluded that was the best part !

I would be happy to cause I really liked the ride ! But am planning a Chennai - Bangalore - Mysore ride coming weekend. I will cancel if it rains and will go for this ride.. if you are up for riding in the rain !

I hate you dude ! I wasnt riding with you at all.. i literally met you at the last stretch ! you kept disappearing from my RVMs ! the cloudy weather has made all the pictures look bad I dont know how to edit them

Next time try to get some more details as in how many of them were part of it, where did you guys meet up, which route did you take etc. in your write-up with pics. So that all the information is available at once and interested readers can take note of it.

Oh yes i do get awesome mileage. Little slow riding is only because i am not comfortable at high speeds. And climbing that small rock was a MINISCULE trekking.
