Dear Friends

As we all know there are lot of bikers who like to tour/ride as a couple (husband/wifes .. or .. GF/BF), however currently most of us tour as a single couple or if we get another non-xbhpian and in fact non -biker couple (rarely). we are trying to build a common platform where we know all those interested in couple riders in a single thread and then we can plan and go on rides together.

Too bad that i cant join you guys as i am having office till 5.30PM. Hoping to catch a glimpse of you guys at ECR as i will be passing by that route in my office bus at around 6PM.

met the great 'young energetic' 68 yr old col kaleem. what an experience. was a privilege to ride along with him inside our chennai and make sure he reaches safe to his accommodation. the great man shared his experience on riding in Pakistan and other countries and we were glad to join him for dinner. thank you for the opportunity to all of you who posted here. cheers :thumbup:

Guys GSLV D-5 will be launched from Sriharikota on January 5th at 4:18pm. I wish I could go on my bike but this time I will be there with my family on our car. Thought it would be a worthy event to share about. Whoever plans to ride there, make sure you reach there a little early as you can expect good crowd. Hope to see some of you there!

Guys planning on riding to Sriharikota tomorrow to witness the GSLV D-5 launch.

The launch is scheduled tomorrow at 4.18PM local time. So planning to visit Tada falls in the morning which is enroute to Sriharikota.

Also eager to taste the seafood at Pulicat lake which i heard is good.

Anyone willing to join ? If so, pls let me know soon so that we can plan it out

Off-Road Ride to Jawadhu Hills

Ride to Jawadhu Hills tomorrow morning and to get teased by off-road route to the other side which is no bed of roses. Off-road is fun as long as you have some experience. Round trip is approximately 500kms and planning to return before dusk.

Difficulty level - Medium

Those interested please see the requirements:-
1. Helmet, armored Jacket, Gloves, Kneeguards,
2. Endurance - biker and his bike
3. Good temperament

Ride date:- 5/1/2014
Time: 5:00 AM
Meeting Point: little ahead of Akkarai Checkpost (Shollinganallur-ECR junction)
Return: Same day - ETA - unknown
