Original Plan was to ride till Chunnambar which is 7km (approx) from Pondy towards Cuddalore. Since we have some members wanted to have it short ride.


First Chennai xbhp ride to Nagalapuram, AP

Ride date - 1st Feb 2014
Time: 6:30 AM
Meeting point - Toll Booth after Puzhal Jail towards Nellore (just can't miss)
Destination - Nagalapuram - Some tree shade anywhere suitable for the group.
Return - 12 PM approximately (considering traffic)
Distance - Round trip not more than 250 kms (approx).

Basic requirement - Helmet, Riding Jacket, Riding gloves, knee guards(preferred),

What to take along? - Water bottle and few namkeens/biscuits.

Newbies, kindly ensure that you have some senior's number along with you to better be in touch and communicate.

Request you all to be the meeting point as planned so we don't miss each other.

Route - Start from Toll booth after Puzhal, Satyavedu, Uthukottai, Nalamangalam forest.

As far as I know, the highways are pretty good, except for some small diversions and the state highways are good upto Uthukottai. I haven't gone further than that before, but it should be good enough.

As far as I know, the highways are pretty good, except for some small diversions and the state highways are good upto Uthukottai. I haven't gone further than that before, but it should be good enough.

Sunny, it's going to be a small stretch of 20 kms approx where we don't have much information on road condition. Ninja has seen Meghamalai twice, so any other should be a bed of roses!

Then why not ask him over & again as what the issues are & what has he done to fix them until you understand? And BTW, what're the problems with the bike according to you?

i did as you siad sir . i asked him abt the problem but he is not aware of it . while riding on 40 to 50 kmph the bike runs good but there is a kind of chocking problem with the bike . the mech said the starter coil has to be replaced but it didnt give a solution . i even checked the choke cable it is fine . sir can you pls pm me your contact number so that i can call you regarding this problem . thanks in advance .

Awesome buddy..... Specially the ride back... had a hard time to keep up with sunny sir (harley) and of course aagree sir (cbr 250 which cruises like a super bike)... but it felt wonderful!

Note: I am talking about the speed... I was crusing at 130 odd still had a hard time with both. .
