How is NH7 road condition ?

Hello Guys ..

Im planning travel to Chennai from Bangalore tomorrow or day after and was wondering how the road conditions are.. its been almost 6-9 months i guess since i did a solo on NH7.. Did anyone travel via NH7? Since its all rainy and stuff i would like to know the road conditions.. Anyhow the rain is not gonna stop me from riding but i can take few precautions early on

Got my gear ready.. packing my stuff atm.. so would like to know the condition of the road..

Have traveled from Chennai to Bangalore on the 7th. Roads are good as usual, just the initial part near Chennai had a few potholes. And of course Bangalore roads as usual.
Intermittent rains throughout the journey, not heavy though. Climate was much cooler and the early morning scenery is just awesome.

Just came back from Coimbatore to Chennai today morning.... The roads are terribad starting from somewhere after Ranipet all the way to Chennai. Thanks to the rain.

Guys... as kannanmr said.. the roads freaking sucks from raniput ... too many potholes, patchworks etc.. and to top it off it was raining as hell (which obviously i enjoyed ) but be safe if you r travelling during the night.. I started off by 1:30pm from Bangalore in rain and it got dark by 5:30.. and heavy rains.. so please be safe out there. The other side of the road towards Bangalore is cool.

Hi my cbr150r drowned completely and was under water for one night. I could take the bike out only yesterday evening. What should I do now? Pls suggest.

Hope you guys in Chennai are safe. As far as drowned bikes are concerned please do not operate or even try to start them before having them checked with a mechanic to prevent further damage. Once the situations return to near normal motor companies usually offer service to vehicles after such incidents of drowning. This may require proper draining of fluids (fuel+engine oils) from the systems.
