Off to Madurai on Friday morning. Anyone else riding the same route?

I'm going to erode on Friday (31st),starting early morning around 4. Going to take the kanchipuram-vellore-krishnagiri route. But I guess Madurai would be in a different route.

Southern India - Need a good itinerary for ~10 days

Hello xBHPians,
I am planning to get on the road for about 10 days starting 18th-Oct. As I will start from Chennai and be back to the same place, please suggest a good circuit for the same, highways or not. I have a TB350 and my personal liking is hills, woods, waterfalls, forts, historical places and barren lands with good views. Beaches can be included too. I included everything, didn't I? I believe, I just need an itinerary for 10 days then.

You could try exploring kerala (Kanthalloor, Munnar, Vayanadu, Vagamon and hit Kollam if time permits) or Karnataka (Chikmagalur, Koppa, Shimoga, Agambe, Mangalore and back.) Or my favorite, do a coastal ride from Chennai - Rameshwaram (Danushkodi), Kanyakumari, Kollam, Cochin and back to Chennai. You have 10 days! I would kill to have the same . All the best, and do keep us posted!

Thanks aargee, for the detailed itinerary! Today, I just did Chennai-Yelagiri hills-Hogenakkal falls-Chennai. Started at 7 in the morming and returned at 11pm. Day ride was very hot and I had to take frequent breaks. I think, I will wait for December to take up this 10-day trip.

Chennai to Bangalore

Hello everyone,

I have decided to goto Bangalore from Chennai via the vellore krishnagiri route on the 6th of Nov. I am thinking of doing it in the night, since I don't want to waste my limited holidays.

Just wanted to know if this route is safe for riding at night. Also anyone interested to join me are most welcome.

Please let me know what you guys think on this trip.
