Well...I just understood you're trying to get your bike re-registered; pls correct me if I've misunderstood. If that is the case, simply store your bike & get a used TN bike; its simply not worth enough the TIME & EFFORT (in addition to money ofcourse) to be spending on this

I agree with you mate. I just made same mistake when I shifted from Mumbai to chennai. RTO guys, you can't talk anything to them. Even after some cash transfer when formalities gets over, I was told it will take more than six months easily for new no.

Exactly. And six months is just the beginning; by the end of 1 year & 10 months we get the new number & it takes another 2 years to cancel & get the MH/UP registration & until then we could do nothing about our vehicles.

If we're sentimental, then we can simply store our vehicles & get an used one temporarily in the respective state provided our stay is a short one. Cars, unfortunately may not be worked out on the same way though.

Actually this is a problem only in the southern States if am not wrong, coz I took my TN car to Mumbai and all I had to do is just pay road tax there and problem solved. But, for now I just hope the police doesn't catch me [emoji12]

Problem of entire country, just that in South the law is little enforced

Xbhp core team will be coming to Chennai as part of Thankyouride. There will be a meet on Wednesday calling members of Chennai chapter and other biking clubs of Chennai. Newbies, seniors, feel free to join the meet if available.

Destination: McDonalds , OMR

Helmet & riding gear are mandatory. There will not be any high speed run but slow stroll all the way till we reach the destination. Staggered or single file formation shall be followed as per conditions.
