Hi parth. I too had a very bad experience with those jai bajaj guys in tambaram. While doing service they somehow made engine to leak oil which was fine when I left. Took it to them.. Similar to your case without even apologising took the bike did something and gave it back and the issue started again after two days. Then took my bike to a local mechanic and found that they had screwed the sealant package along with the bolts and it started leaking.

By chance I had serviced my bike last month at khivraj bajaj just beside Gemini flyover. Had a very good service. They sorted out all the issues and had a good service. Dunno whether they are consistent in the same way. But you can try it out.

Another centre is the pro biking bajaj showroom on the medavakkam high. It comes on right hand side when you go from tamabaram towards medavakkam. Didn't have personal experience, but got very good review from a close friend who services his p220 over there. You can have a try.

Hi [MENTION=70997]emm[/MENTION] !! I too want to get my P180 serviced from and ASC, so if you know or could tell me a Service STN wherei can stand next to my bike and get the servicing done in front of my eyes and you know it why...

Also if you could tell the servicing price (except oil and other stuff) they took for your bike... I took a toll at one of the ASCs they told it as Rs. 375 for P180. I'm asking this coz in U.P. they used to charge 250 for P180 service, Aren't the servicing the charges same across the country ??

Which area of chennai are you staying.? For the service centres in chennai, you can see my previous post which I feel are good.

Regarding the price for servicing, for the past 1 and half years I had paid around 400rs for servicing cost alone without any other spare part charges. I generally change oil filers and engine oil myself. No idea how you paid only 250. May be changes in state taxes.

I'm staying in Ramapuram Colony, Opposite DLF.

Yeah, I think its because of the different state tax rates.

Also I need to get a TN number, where and how can I approach the RTO. If you could please throw some light on that as well.

Pls approach a good driving school & stay off from RTO directly. They hate us but love the driving school

As a agree has suggested you should be contacting a driving school. You don't need to worry about anything except for paying money to them. Any don't worry about language. I suppose the people at driving school will manage with English. I am not. So sure about the driving schools around dlf area. May be someone around your area can help. Once you locate an rto near your place you go to them and they will take care of everything.
