Hi,

I am searching for plasti dip , basically rubberised paint for painting the Rims of my bike. Plastidip is a brand, so any other name will also do, but the product should be the same (multi surface rubber paint which is removable in Matt black). Finding it pretty difficult to get in Chennai ... anyone would know? Thanks .

I'm Srinath from Chennai. I am an engineering student. A few pages back, I had asked if you guys would ride again. After that I'm seeing this thread only now. Where would you guys meet if the date is fixed? Can I join? And is there any ride around some 100km off the city coming up ? I'm new to long distance biking and I got my first bike only recently. Would like to connect with other bikers in Chennai for a proper and safe ride!

We usually meet up at Thiruvanmiyur beach between 6-7pm, opposite to Bella Ciao board.

General Info:
Chrompet shell Petrol bunk ( The one on GST road towards trichy ) is now open 24 hours.... They got automatic billing and its Pure for sure ( Been filling my R15 there from 0kms on ODO to 21k kms ). Thought this would be helpful for people who tour and even saddle sore because they got automatic billing

Its on the left hand side while travelling towards tambaram from guindy, just after Newly opened Saravana Stores (opp to A2B Hotel ).. You cant really miss the shell pump even in traffic as its big and if in rare case, you cant really miss the huge Saravana stores which is fully lit even at night

Good Service center in Chennai for Pulsar 200 NS

Hi,

I am from Chennai and my 200 NS is 35km and 2 years old. Lately I have been experiencing quite a few issues with my NS and it seems the problem is more with the Jai Bajaj service center guys in Tambaram sanatorium. They don't seem to do throrough job at checking during the routine services and miss important issues.

They fitted a new rear tire and a jarring chain noise poped up a couple of days later. A few weeks later, I gave my bike for routine service there and they topped up the coolant fluid then. After a couple of days, I found the coolant oil has again come down and a local mechanic found that the engine oil and coolant oil are getting mixed up. I again took my bike to the service center and they fixed the issue showing no remorse for having missed finding it out during the service a few days back.

Now I am seeing the engine oil low pressure indicator blinking frequently along with the chain and clutch engagement noise that still keep popping up now and then.

I badly need a reliable service center in Chennai and I hope to get him back in good shape again. Please help me guys!
