They allow jacket+riding pants? This is new, I thought only full race leathers were allowed. Are you sure about this information?

Guys! The pay and practice has been cancelled.

I had called them up, they had confirmed that you need a proper thick jacket and thick pants. with a proper helmet and safety gear. Then he dropped a number saying you confirm from there. That guy did not answer the question and blatantly said the track day is cancelled. END OF CALL.

I am not a big fan of these guys anymore.. They are lethargic and keep passing up new numbers for every points clarity. It took me better part of the day chasing these guys to get the info. And I ended up getting my bike early serviced so that I could be there. Hugely disappointing.

Their FAQ and engagement should be taken over by XBHP as a favour to them. Atleast they can have constant revenue stream to pay for their facilities. Someone needs to tell them to figure the math.

Had wonderful ride to OOty, coonnoor, Kotagiri and Valparai last week. all in 3 days. 1400kms, ~38ltr of fuel, ~2900Rs., 1100Rs for stay, 660Rs for food, Toy train ride and so many hair pin bends.. all went well like planned. but it wasn't..
also saw some Yezdi guys returning from Valparai, could be some meet.
awesome climate and awesome roads. love the roads and countryside here. have not much of photgrphy done, just enjoyed the senery, greenery and silence of the hills.

hoping to do Coorg to Munnar on 15th Aug, any suggestions for route?

They have been turned out to be strict on rules after few accidents
All we need is is one piece leather suit, leather racing boot nd gloves and certified helmet

Believe me, these leathers will only provide you maximum safety on impacts nd crashes

For every Sunday wen there is no schedule booked we can pay 2000 and practice for entire day i.e from 8.30-2pm
Ps. Note- at bic u need to pay 5000 for half an hour

If u want to practice on separate day we need to pay 75k and arrange a track day exclusively for our self

There is a bunch of track day racers often comes from bangalore to mmsc for riding on sat nd sundays.
Search for
"Indian track day regulars" in fb
They keep updating about track days

hey mate, it was raining in Valparai. Mostly foggy, and cold.
At pollachi it was dry.
I would recommend to stay in PON HOMESTAY, definitely worth for every penny.
Mention Satya, xbhp, Chennai.
He will be happy to have you.
It wasn't crowdy due to rains, hence you can expect piece of mind and can enjoy weather...

The week after the pre-ride, there will be a meet to brief about the Wayanad trip and tee shirt distribution as it is expected to arrive around first week Sept. I request you to attend the coffee meet either on 6th/7th Sept without fail.

General Check:-

1. Kindly get the PUC done for your vehichle. We don't know where we might be pulled up and least we should not be stranded for want of documents.
2. Get your vehicle service check much earlier to the ride date so you can fine tune any adjustments if required.
3. Rains:- With present scenario, it is expected to rain right from the bordering towns of the states. So I request you to get your rain gear. FYI.. if you are going to get rain coat(jacket and pant) you'll need to buy the next size so you could put on top of riding jacket and save your riding jacket from getting wet.
4. Carry rain covers for your luggage to protect your electronics and other valuables.
5. Write down important numbers in a piece of paper so that it helps in case of your cell phone battery runs down.
6. A small tip, just in case you lose the group during the ride and wondering where to go, always get near to the prominent landmarks like school, college, Govt. building, signboards etc and call the designated group lead, so it helps them to know where you are and direct you.

Every year it has been so much of fun meeting bikers across borders and this time is going to get even better.
